Filled Under: CRIME
A 78-year old man in Patras got brutally beaten on Wednesday night after falling victim to a vicious attack by several illegal immigrants. The elderly man told the patrastimes that as he was heading home near Thessaloniki Street in the area of Agia Sofia in Patras, two foreigners approached him and threw him on the ground for no reason in an attempt to rob him of his money. In the process, and as seen in the picture above, they also caused facial and body injuries to the poor Greek man and then grabbed the only money he had on him which was 50 euros and disappeared.
Editor's Note: Something better be done in Patras as well as Athens as far as the crime from foreigners is concerned. We are afraid that the cup has tilted and all hell will brake soon if they do not do something RIGHT AWAY, or better yet YESTERDAY. No more "we are planning this" or "we are planning that". No more "violence cannot be solved with violence". When people are being murdered, when young couples are being raped and when our grandfathers are being brutally beaten for a mere 50 euros... people will not listen to what the state will say anymore (because the state clearly does not care) and will unfortunately take matters into their own hands.
