The Exodus takes place on the Saturday night before Holy Week begins -or Lazarus Day- and a similar procession is held on Palm Sunday as well. "Traitors, you betrayed our country, you have sold out your nation's wealth, mocked the memory of our dead ancestors, shame on you" said the crowd. When the representatives were called to lay a memorial wreath at the main Square they were booed and hissed once again. On the other hand the crowd warmly welcomed officials from Cyprus, the Greek Armed Services, etc...
