Training of Russian Naval Staff Wraps Up In Greece


The Boarding and Command Teams of the Russian ship “VICE ADMIRAL KULAKOV” are wrapping up their training today at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center (NMIOTC). The decision for this training, which began on Monday April 23, 2012, was made during the 17th meeting of NATO-RUSSIA council within the context of the cooperation program for the year 2012.

Their training, according to the training activities of the Center, included practice as well as classroom issues of Maritime Interdiction in Counter-Piracy Operations.
