SPECIAL REPORT - Is PASOK "Adjusting" The Vote Share For May 6 Elections?

Has the socialist PASOK party committed electoral fraud by "adjusting" the vote share for the upcoming May 6, 2012 elections? Well the buzz in the blog sphere is that the socialists are trying to increase their voters by "generously" handing out massive citizenship statuses to thousands of illegal immigrants.

More precisely, before being appointed as spokesman for the socialist party, Fofi Gennimatas (who was at the Interior Ministry until the beginning of April) apparently began giving out citizenship status to thousands of illegal immigrants who are now expected to vote at the upcoming elections. Since the majority of Greek people have turned their back to the socialists, PASOK is doing what it has always done best... it is "adjusting" the share of votes to remain in power.

As you will see in the documents below, PASOK has given out citizenship status to many illegals who live in Albania and these are just in April. We wonder how many they have given out to others from Pakistan, Afghanistan and India. It is almost like a Déjà vu of 2000 when the Simitis government was charged of giving out more than 150,000 citizenship status to illegals in order to "adjust" the election results. And from what history showed they did... and PASOK won that election by a narrow mark. Is this what they are trying to do at this election?

God help us if they are.

They did not give mail voting rights to Greek citizens who live abroad... but are allowing illegal immigrants to suddenly gain status for the "Freaken" vote! Disgusting!

In our opinion this is fraud plain and simple, and although technically the term 'electoral fraud' covers only those acts which are illegal, the term is also used to describe acts which although legal, are considered to be morally unacceptable, outside the spirit of electoral laws or in violation of the principles of democracy. And certainly Fofi Gennimatas and her political party can already be charged of unacceptable moral behavior.

Think about it, this type of electoral fraud can only be compared to a coup d'état. In a very important election a small amount of fraud can be enough to totally change the results and we all know that our creditors are trembling with the sudden rise in popularity of some of the other parties as well as New Democracy which might be in the lead, but if given the majority will not be easily controlled whereas a coalition government (with Yes Men Soldiers in PASOK) can.

Definitely this move decreases voters' confidence in democracy there is no two ways about it. Even the idea is damaging as it makes people less inclined to accept election results. And we wonder... with so much noise being made on the Internet about this hasn't the main opposition New Democracy party realized what is going on? And if they have... then are they willing to point the finger towards PASOK or are they waiting to see what the results will be like and then make their move?

Is this why there are already rumors that we will be heading for a second election in October?

Friends... this is insane. They are playing us for fools and once again playing Russian roulette with our democracy. In fact... these types of methods are only used by dictators or third world countries!

And it would not surprise us if this type of fraud was used in most of the public opinion polls they conducted over the last few months in the framework of swaying voters.

Which kind of makes perfect sense since the potential gain here is worth the risk for the cheater; and in this case PASOK has EVERYTHING to lose and nothing to gain by becoming fourth or fifth party.

Certainly there are penalties but those who commit this type of "fraud" never expect that it will be discovered and that it will be excused, unfortunately for PASOK it was discovered it is not going to be excused and we present the documents... Read them and Weep.
