Bomb Threat At Athens Appeals Court

Police officials said on Friday that they evacuated and cordoned the premises of the Athens appeals court on Alexandras Avenue (in the center of the Greek capital) after an anonymous caller warned that a bomb had been planted there. According to press reports, the caller did not say when the device said to have been planted at the courts was due to go off. Members of the Greek police’s bomb disposal unit were immediately dispatched to the area and according to reports are now searching the premises.
