In Paris, demonstrators gathered at Trocadero square, or the square dedicated to "Human Rights" where 17 organizations would take part. Also set to participate was the leftist party in collaboration with the French Communist Party and other parties. Also the http://jesuisgrec.blogspot.com blog has been busy gathering signatures all day in support of the Greek crisis in their "I am Greek" campaign. At the same time, French citizens also mobilized the social networks and opened a group called "We are All Greeks". Hundreds of people have already joined the facebook page while ten other groups opened up simultaneously from groups in Paris, Grenoble, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Toulouse
In Germany protests took place in Berlin, Munich and in Cologne, while in the UK a demonstration was held outside the Greek Embassy in London.
In New York the "Occupy Movement" gathered at at 14:00 (local time) at Zuccotti park, while the Occupy San Francisco movement also held a quick rally for Greece.
In Italy, two Italian mayors Marco Gkalnti from the town of Cava Dei Tireni outside of Salerno in southern Italy and Giovanni Moskatielo of Baronisi decided to waive their salaries (1,100 and 780 euros respectively) in support of the Greek people .

Protesters all over the world are infuriated over the European Union's treatment of Greece and its people, they are enraged that our basic democratic rights have been waived so that we can keep the bankers happy and they have pledged to show us support from hereafter.
