Chrysohoidis Goes Live On MEGA To Explain Why He Didn't Read The Memorandum

After making a total mockery of himself several days ago by admitting that he never read the Memorandum, Development Minister Michalis Chrysohoidis said on Thursday on MEGA channel's morning talk show that he was "forced" to sign the agreement while "a gun was being held" to his "head". He admitted that he was part of this crime, but wants to now make up for his mistake. Chrysohoidis also said that many other PASOK members were "blackmailed" to vote on the extra measures. The Minister also admitted that he was briefed on the general "axis" of the agreement with the Troika, but he did not know its exact content (said to be over 2.200 pages). He also revealed that he was not going to back down as a candidate for the leadership of the PASOK party and threw the glove at all the contenders by noting that "we have all built a certain career through the years and whoever doubts mine should speak up”.

Chrysohoidis has come under attack since his statements on SKAI channel several days ago, but at least he was honest (even if this was a long time in coming). Most of the ministers who voted for the first memorandum (which basically paved the way for the illegal loan agreements) did not read the Memorandum at all. (Click here to read full story)

It was pitiful to see Chrysohoidis like this on Thursday, but do not underestimate his intentions. According to publisher and journalist George Trangas, his interview in CRASH magazine (set to be released on January 27) will send shock waves throughout the political fora.

Nonetheless... we here at hellasfrappe are a generous group of souls and have decided to help out our fellow MPs... So here is a small section of the loan agreement. Grab yourselves a cup of coffee, or better yet a frappe, and for God sakes READ IT!
