VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENT - Merry Christmas To All Hellasfrappe Fans

This is a Christmas video that kind of places a strong emphasis on all that we have in the modern world... from the essentials like food and shelter to the things we tend to take for granted, like family, friends, freedom and democracy. Dear friends, this video does not say anything new, it has probably circulated on many blogs and has probably even decorated your walls on facebook during the holidays. Nonetheless, Hellasfrappe would like to share it with you once again and ask that you all watch it with sincerity and with pure heart. it bears reading because all too often people get wrapped in up their own problems without considering that many people around the world are worse off than they are. This simple but meaningful video puts things into perspective for us again. We here at hellasfrappe are very blessed that we found the inspiration and the will this year to do as much as we can to inform the Greek Diaspora and friends of Hellas about our country and especially about the true meaning of Hellenism. We are fortunate, because our project was embraced by thousands of Greeks and friends of Greece from all over the world. Nonetheless we need your help to continue this project. The only thing we ask is that you please support our effort by donating or becoming a sponsor of the blog. All funds are for its maintenance and development. No amount is too large or too small, it all counts. We thank you all for your readership, and wish you all a wonderful Christmas Eve, and thank you for believing is us... we indeed are blessed. Xronia Mas Polla!

Count Your Blessings This Christmas

If you own one Bible, you are abundantly blessed. One-third of the world does not have access to even one.

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who will not survive the week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 500 million people around the world.

If you attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death, you are more blessed than almost three billion people around the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of the worlds wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive, you are very rare, even in the United States.

If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder, you are blessed because you can offer God's healing touch.

If you prayed yesterday and today, you are in the minority because you believe in God's willingness to hear and answer prayer.

If you believe in Jesus as the Son of God, you are part of a very small minority in the world.

If you can read this message, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read anything at all.

Count your blessings and it is amazing how small your troubles will seem. Share them with someone who can't hope for them and you will be further blessed to experience a part of the grace of God who gave the ultimate Gift of love so we could have eternal life with Him forever. In light of that eternity, every moment and object we have is passing away quickly. Share them all as graciously as possible and you'll be doubly blessed.
