Spartans walk to Athens, focus of BBC special - VIDEO

"A new age has begun, an age of freedom, and all we will know is that
300 Spartans gave their last breath to defend it."

The indignant Spartans say no to the clutch of Europe and convey the message of resistance all over Greece, Europe and all over the world. The group of almost 30 protestors began walking from Sparta to Athens on Sunday, about 250 kilometers, and they were set to join the protest at Syntagma Square later on today, but as it was announced they will be arriving in Athens tomorrow. It is the timeless message of Sparta which talks about the eternal fight for values. Their slogans: “People are free"; "Nations are free"; "Freedom is conquered, it is not granted." Their journey was part of a special BBC news special yesterday. View video below.
