Prosecutor accepts lawsuit charging Greek gov’t of High Treason (VIDEO)

In JusticeImage via Wikipedia
The incredible has happened, a Greek prosecutor finally accepted a lawsuit lodged by Dr. Dimitris Antoniou last year against a list of Greek politicians and parliamentarians who signed the (IMF, EU) Memorandum (and loan agreements). The lawsuit also flat out accuses the present Greek government of High Treason and the betrayal of the country's constitution. (The details of his lawsuit are featured here on an earlier article)

The news, which shocked everyone who was following the story, did not circulate on the mainstream media… but was only broadcasted from Kontra Channel and some Greek news blogs.

Mr. Dimitris Antoniou, is a 56 year old resident surgeon and oncologist in Halkida. He filed the lawsuit last May against a list of parliamentarians who signed the memorandum of Ministers, the President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias but also against members of the "Troika" (names and addresses included).

In accordance to the Greek Constitution, MPs and ministers enjoy immunity yet the act of High Treason is a crime for which they can be prosecuted without the consent of the Greek Parliament.

At the preliminary investigation proceedings, Antoniou filed additional pleadings and his lawyers presented more evidence on the case. More information can be found on his blog (stoxasmos-politikh.blogspot.com).

On the subject of his blog, Anotniou has also posted a video with a few questions to well-known Economic Analyst for the RT news channel Max Keiser about this very subject. It would be interesting to see what Mr. Keiser answers him.
