The remote peninsula of Mount Athos was reportedly featured on the popular US television show “60 Minutes”, part of the CBS network, on Easter Sunday.Correspondent Bob Simon apparently journeyed to this holy area in Northern Greece after pleading to get in for more than two years. The footage is amazing, and the documentation of every day monastic life is quite impressive. The segment is produced by Harry Radliffe and Greek native Michael Karzis.
