BREAKING - Russia States That It Is Willing to Consider Loans To Greece

Ahead of talks between Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich was quoted in an interview on RT television as saying that Moscow is willing to consider giving financial aid to Greece.
"We will support any decision (on the Greek debt crisis) that is proposed by Greece and our European partners," Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said. "The most important things for us are investment projects and trade with Greece. If financial support is needed, we will consider this question," he said.
"A stable Europe and a stable Greece is a priority for us. We will support the resolution of Greece’s financial crisis by all possible means," the deputy prime minister stressed.
Many countries in Europe want sanctions against Russia to be lifted as soon as possible, and Greece is one of those countries, he noted.
"Those countries think about their economy, and not about politics. We believe that this is a constructive approach," Dvorkovich added.
"We definitely hold more consultations now with countries like this than with leading European countries that do not want to continue economic dialogue," he stressed.
