Forget Dr. No, Goldfinger, and James Bond’s most recent enemy, Raoul Silva, a cyber-terrorist who can collapse economies and alter elections with a few computer keystrokes. The world’s most dangerous man to fair elections is not a James Bond villain, but the international frontier-hopping Hungarian known as Gyorgy Schwartz, also known as George Soros, the international currency manipulator and democracy troublemaker.
Replace the letter «S» in his last name with dollar signs and one is left with «oro», the Spanish and Italian word for gold. The name «SOROS» is worthy of any arch-villain created by Ian Fleming to be Bond’s nemesis. And considering that the villain of Bond in the two Bond films prior to the most recent release was known as «Quantum», perhaps the Bond writers were onto something – Soros’s mega-hedge fund is called the Quantum Fund and it is quite capable of causing as much mayhem as its fictional doppelganger.
With billions from his own and U.S. intelligence financial tranches available to influence vote counts and install governments, Soros has become a modern-day Prince Metternich. Soros is a template for the modern-day Machiavellian behind-the-scenes manipulator, once feeling as comfortable assisting Hungarian and German Nazi officials in rounding up Jews for deportation as he is now consorting with Nobel Peace Prize laureates in bringing about global "democracy". However, Soros’s idea of democracy is installing political leaders who willingly obey orders from the blood-sucking banking elites of London, New York, and Frankfurt…
Soros’s election manipulators, employees of his top non-governmental organization, the Open Society Foundation, have long been active in eastern and central Europe.
Where Soros’s favored candidates for president lost, the Open Society operatives used the tactics of the street revolution standardized by American professor Gene Sharp. Soros’s money and Sharp’s tactics were used to foment various «themed revolutions» in Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, and Moldova.
In Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, Soros has become adept at backing candidates for office who are better known to Wall Street than to the Main Streets if their own capital cities and major towns.
One such example is Sierra Leone, where the Soros-backed president, Ernest Bai Koroma, a former executive of the Reliance Insurance Trust Corporation (RITCO), was just re-elected with 58 percent of the vote. Koroma’s main rival, former military leader Brigadier Julius Maada Bio, received 37 percent of the vote.
The Voice of America, which is linked to other U.S. government propaganda outlets like the Soros-influenced Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, stated nothing about charges of election fraud from the Bio camp. VOA reported the vote was «peaceful and transparent».
The western corporate news media hailed Koroma’s victory as fair. Bio had a different opinion, one that was drowned out by the din emanating from the Soros media orchestra that fed sound bytes and snap quotes to the media, which did not bother to send independent reporters into Sierra Leone.
Bio told Agence France Press,
«The process was fraudulent and the results do not reflect the will of Sierra Leoneans . . . “The party has raised concerns about electoral irregularities including faked and unstamped reconciliation and results forms, pre-marked ballot papers, ballot stuffing and over-voting in Kono (diamond-rich east), the western area and the northern province. These and many more instances of malpractice undermines the credibility of the results».
The National Elections Commission, around which fawning NGO election observers gathered to be convinced of the free and fair nature of the election, proclaimed the election a success and free of malfeasance. Soros and his moneyed friends see Sierra Leone as a country that must remain in the hands of the8ir cronies. After all, Sierra Leone is rich in diamonds and diamonds are Mr. Soros’s best friends. Soros’s friend next door to Sierra Leone, Ellen Sirleaf-Johnson, is the template for Soros-backed leadership in Africa and elsewhere.
Former international civil servants or business people elevated to the highest offices in their nations who are more loyal to the trading houses of London and New York to their own constituents is the rule rather than the exception in Africa today.
Sirleaf is a former executive of the World Bank in Washington and Citibank in Nairobi. She also served as the chair of Open Society Initiative for West Africa along with Abdul Tejan-Cole, the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission in Sierra Leone and an oft-mentioned future president of Sierra Leone.
Soros is able to sugar the resumes of people like Sirleaf and Tejan-Cole with glittery awards.
Sirleaf is a co-recipient of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize, while Tejan-Cole received the 2001 Human Rights Watch award. Soros is easily able to influence NGOs like Human Rights Watch, especially after having given the organization $100 million in 2010.
Prior to Venezuela’s October 7 election, Soros’s media manipulators and NGO operatives were busy at work. Socialist incumbent Hugo Chavez was said to be running neck-and-neck for re-election against the globalists’ favorite, Henrique Capriles Radonski, whose mother’s Jewish grandparents perished in one of the death camps that Soros assisted in populating – Treblinka.
Capriles was sheep-dipped through Columbia University and the International Fiscal Association in Amsterdam where Israeli agents-of-influence talent spot future leaders for other nations, especially those that will be of assistance to Soros and the family that ultimately even dictates Soros’s priorities: the Rothschild banking family of Europe and North America.
The influence of Soros and the Rothschilds on Capriles was not lost on Venezuelan National radio, which wrote: «This is our enemy: the Zionism that Capriles today represents . . . Zionism, along with capitalism, are responsible for 90% of world poverty and imperialist wars.”
The propaganda war launched by Soros- and U.S. government-funded entities against Chavez failed. Chavez won with 63 percent of the vote and the election was deemed free and fair by the Organization of American States and the Carter Center.
Soros has his eyes trained on other nations in Latin America where the bankers and globalists see an opportunity to roll back the socialist tide. One is Honduras, taken over militarily in a CIA-backed coup in 2009 that ousted Chavez ally Manuel Zelaya.
The pro-American puppet government is facing an election in 2013 and Zelaya’s wife, Xiomara Castro, is the candidate for president of Libre, the leftist Liberty and Reformation Party.
Soros and his CIA and Rothschild benefactors can be expected to throw massive amounts of money into the Honduran campaign in support of the bourgeois National and Liberal Parties, both of whose fingerprints were found on the 2009 coup against Zelaya.
Soros is currently engaged in a project to oust the government of Malaysia and usher into power the type of Western-compliant government that has recently taken over in Myanmar, which, after a long battle with Soros entities, succumbed to Western pressure and «opened up». Part of the «opening up» has been the outbreak of inter-religious violence in Rakhine state among Buddhists and Muslims.
Soros has shown himself to not only be immune to criticism but to engage in counter-attacks, including having Wikipedia publish entries like:
«Many conspiracy theories have been created about Hungarian-American financier and philanthropist George Soros since his rise to economic wealth… Anti-Sorosism has come under increasing scrutiny due to the growing political currency of anti-Soros conspiracy theories in conservative and nationalist circles, with [New York blogger and CNN contributor Michael] Wolraich comparing anti-Sorosism to long-running conspiracy theories about the Rothschild family dating to 1800s Europe».
Which is odd, when this author cited evidence of election fraud in Ohio in 2004 that cost John Kerry the presidency, I was shut down and cut off financially by Soros, not «conservative and nationalist» circles.
A few years ago the conventional wisdom in the West was that maybe China might surpass the United States (a sub-section of the West) in 50 years. Now, any serious thinker understands that China is top dog and the West is in deep crisis. The Western nations have lost their moral, financial and political leadership of the world.
This week we will look at why the leaders of the Western world nearly destroyed their own civilization. Then we will then try to figure out what to do to restore Western vitality. The causes for the Western decline were years in the making. The results manifested themselves over a very short period. Our ancestors would have recognized the situation had its ultimate origins in moral failure on the part of our leaders. Here are the seven deadly sins of the West:
The pride that kills
Westerners as a whole are perceived by other peoples as arrogant, and rightly so. My own initial reaction to living in Japan was typical. Anything that Japan did that was different from how it was done in the West was wrong. I was constantly preaching to my Japanese friends (many soon to be ex-friends) and telling them what to do until it slowly dawned on me that I had more to learn that I had to teach.
The Western (especially US) leadership has been doing the same: telling and forcing countries to adopt two-party Democracy and the “Washington (read Wall St.) consensus” on economic management. What they failed to realize is that ever since military defeat in colonial times other countries and cultures have been diligently studying the West and drawing their own conclusions.
The West, meanwhile, never thought that perhaps they should be studying other civilizations for clues on how to improve their own. The result is that other countries, especially in Asia, have combined the best of the Western with the best of their traditional culture to create a vital new hybrid, leaving the West to catch up.
Sloth: the laziness that saps strength
At some hard to define point over the past few decades use of phrases like “protestant work ethic,” to describe hard working Westerners has been replaced with phrases like “couch potatoes.” Westerners somehow thought they could let other countries do all the real work while they sat back and gave orders. The following joke sums up the situation fairly well:
“How many Anglo-Saxons does it take to change a light bulb?”
Answer: “Two, one to mix the martinis and another to look up an electrician in the phone book.”
This laziness resulted in over 30-years of merchandise trade deficits in most Western countries and the bankruptcy it has now led to.
Greed: the love of money over life
Perhaps the greatest sin among Western leaders. Enough has been written about the sins of greedy bankers that I do not need to say much. However, what many do not realize is that the love of money has literally made most Americans slaves to an artificial intelligence. Fantastical as it may seem, most of the profits generated by Wall Street are generated by artificial intelligences known as trading programs that have greed as their prime directive.
They rule Wall Street. Wall Street in turn is ruled by a single concept: seek money. The fountain of money, the Federal Reserve Board, functions like a single non-human mind run by massive computer networks. Most politicians and top military leaders in the US receive bribes and take orders from Wall Street and so in effect, they pillage the planet on behalf of an artificial intelligence motivated by greed.
Perhaps the best example of a black hole of greed sucking life and vitality out of the United States is Walmart. In order to maximize the “profits” or money for Walmart, the middle-class in the US and its industrial infrastructure have been decimated. The six members of the Walton family now have more money than the poorest 100 million Americans.
Wrath: the cruelty that destroyed Western moral superiority
There was a time when the West was seen as the champion of human rights and morality. Now the West is rightly seen by the rest of the world as a collection of rogue nations. The murder and pillaging of millions of people in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya are just the latest atrocities carried out by the fascist regime that took over power in the West after 911 in 2001. Western military forces now kill non-combatants, women and children in order to help fascist oligarchs steal their resources? Whatever happened to chivalry?
Gluttony: the West is literally eating the world
Westerners, the majority of whom are obese, have destroyed vast areas pristine wilderness to satisfy a lust for ever more food. The destruction of tropical rain forests for agribusinesses like cattle ranches and palm oil plantations are the single greatest reason why Western civilization has wiped out 30% of all land species on earth in the past 100 years. Overfishing is helping accomplish the same things in the oceans. Greed for unnecessary food is wiping out variety in life that took billions of years to evolve. Hopefully the Chinese will do a better job of preserving global biodiversity.
Lust:
Mistaken Malthusian fears of overpopulation have led Western rulers to do their best to divorce sex from procreation. Sex as a loveless non-reproductive sport is promoted through ubiquitous pornography. Homo-sexual marriage (that cannot produce children) is promoted while polygamy (that produces lots of children) is still criminalized in the West. The result is that Western countries now all have shrinking, aging populations. The West is losing the battle of evolution which is won mostly in the bedroom.
Envy:
The rulers of the West have been trying to start World War 3 and destroy 90% of humanity because they could not stand the idea of other cultures and nations surpassing them. It was their jealousy of other civilizations that led to their current international isolation.
So, what can the West do to recover?
Unfortunately, the first thing the West needs to do is what heroin addicts have to do to break their addiction: go cold turkey. In this case it is money addiction that needs to be cured. Money has no meaning unless it is backed by stuff that actually exists in the real world. That means Westerners have to start making stuff again. That means working again. To reverse what the Asian bar girls say: “No honey, no money.”
The West also needs to drain all the fraudulent money out of the political and economic system until money has real value again. The United States needs to stop using the foreign owned and operated, misnamed US dollar and start issuing its own currency. The Southern European nations also need to get off the Euro.
That will mean a temporary, and very brief, time when imports will suddenly become expensive. That is the pain.
Then there will be plenty of local manufacturing jobs as people buy local and exports are competitive again. There will also be plenty of tourist business creating jobs. That is the gain.
More importantly the countries of the West need to revamp their political and economic systems. They need to start imitating the Chinese and places like Singapore and create a hybrid between meritocracy and democracy.
The Chinese pioneered meritocracy with their imperial exams but, as my father once put it, “wasted it by devoting it all to memorizing those blasted ancient texts.” The British copied the system and improved it by basing the entrance exams on more modern and relevant topics. The Chinese then re-adopted that system and started adding their own improvements.
The new Chinese system combines meritocracy with real time democracy. Their leadership responds to opinion polls and blogs on a daily basis because they know that to do otherwise would lead to a loss of the Mandate of Heaven.
This system is still being tinkered with and improved but there can be no doubt the world’s center of economic gravity has shifted to China and will continue to do so as long as their system of government remains superior. However, the Chinese know from their own historical experience that a single central source of power, no matter how competent or benevolent, leads eventually to stagnation.
The West needs make sure we do not end up with a one-China world by setting up its own competing meritocratic systems. The pentagon is one example of a successful Western meritocracy that can be used as a model for a new system. The main, and fatal, flaw of the pentagon was that it was parasitical and not self-supporting.
The legal system remains perhaps the healthiest remaining part of the Western world but it too has been seriously undermined by corruption and lack of accountability or transparency.
Democracy was also a very good system in the past. It worked very well in a small city state where the rumour-mill provided freedom of information and town meetings could be called spontaneously in response to needs. However, it has been debased in most of the modern West by bribery, fraud, censorship, brain-washing and an inability to respond in real time to the emerging group-mind that is evolving on the Internet.
That is why a new future planning agency needs to be established from the ground up so that it can incorporate the best methods and models from throughout the world and from the historical past.
If it is done right, the West can fully harness it’s still superior science and technology to help create an ideal world in harmony with nature and all humanity. What are we waiting for?
Editor's Note - HellasFrappe does not believe that people in the West are lazy, this sounds like the generalizations that were made against Greece at the beginning of the crisis... in order to bring on the crisis. Is this what some forces are trying to do to the West as well? We would not be surprised. The article can also be a trick in order to create tension where tension is not needed. The West lazy? No... Too competitive and greedy yes, lazy no. People in the West work hard to make the money, of course there are always exceptions to the rule as with every society. Wish people all over the world saw it our way... and maybe would have never been termed as the "laziest country" on earth... That is in the past... Let bygones be bygones. They damaged us... looks like we were a good testing ground for propaganda... its now some one else's turn. And while we are talking about generalizations, we would like it if Ben was MORE specific in his articles about the issues he analyzes, rather than making overall generalizations, it might add more to his credibility. Nonetheless the article is quite interesting.

"None who have always been free can understand the terrible fascinating
power of the hope of freedom to those who are not free.” - Pearl S. Buck -
Note: The text below (sorry, it's a little long!) is from a Remembrance Day blog post I wrote in 2009. I decided to share it once again, and include some photos from the local cemetery where Canadian soldiers are buried, and from a memorial that we visited on a trip we took to Washington, D.C. in 2008.)
I am fortunate enough to have spent my entire life in a peaceful, free society. I have never experienced war personally. I have never witnessed it with my own eyes. I’ve never had to worry about surviving another day, about whether my father would be whisked away in the middle of the night by ‘the enemy’. Of bombs landing in my city and killing someone I love. Of having my home invaded by enemy soldiers. Of losing my freedom, my home, my life. I have, thankfully, lived a happy, secure life that I try to remind myself each day to never take for granted.

My parents, on the other hand, experienced quite a different world in their early years; they lived in the midst of World War II, a war that engaged the majority of the world’s nations, including the most powerful of them. Approximately 60 million people perished during those years, 40 million of which were civilians that mostly died from diseases, starvation, massacres, bombings and genocide. Although both my mother and father spent most of their adult years in the safety of Canada, having arrived here in the late 50s from Greece as young adults, some of their earliest memories were built in a war-torn, economically and emotionally bankrupt country that was ravaged by a world war and a subsequent civil war.
My father was 11 years old when the Italian army invaded Greece on the 28th day of October in 1940, which forced the country to enter World War II. My mother was only 5. Despite having a much smaller (but obviously determined) army, Greece defeated Mussolini’s forces and drove the invading army back into Albania where it originated from. However, despite the courage and tenacity of the Greek army, it did not spare the country from being occupied, because in April of 1941, Hitler sent some of his own troops to join forces with Italy and overcome Greece. These two armies were joined by the Bulgarian army, a brutal occupier whose policy was that of extermination or expulsion. They tried to forcibly Bulgarize as many Greeks as possible; the ones they did not succeed with were either expelled or killed.
Until its liberation in October 1944, the country was devastated by the war, its economy and infrastructure ruined; its people hungry and disillusioned. More than 300,000 Greeks lost their lives during this period, and the country’s long-established Jewish population had been almost completely wiped out. In addition to all that, as soon as World War II ended, a civil war broke out in Greece, which would last until 1949 and leave the country in shambles. It took years for Greece to rebuild itself but in the meantime there were no jobs. There was no food. There was no hope. There was no future. So, in December of 1957, my mother boarded a ship with two of her sisters, leaving behind four other siblings, their parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, townsfolk and all their childhood friends, and headed for Canada. For a better life. They were, she said, filled with fear as they headed for the unknown. But they were also filled with hope for the future.
So terribly young... - Credit - Plowing Through Life
In my younger years, despite having learned about World War II in school, I failed to associate my parent’s childhood years with that period. Having been born – and having lived my entire life - in Canada, as far as I was concerned our lives had always been here, including my parents. It was only when I became a young adult that I took a sincere interest in hearing about their experiences in what they always referred to as the most difficult years of their lives.
I began to ask questions, encouraging them to share some of their memories during World War II. They told me about the sounds of gunfire they heard from soldiers battling nearby. They told me about Italian, German and Bulgarian soldiers walking through towns, searching for the local men who would run off to hide in the fields after a designated lookout standing on top of a tower sounded a bell to warn of incoming ‘enemy’ soldiers. My mother recalled her own father disappearing into the forest as German troops approached to avoid being picked up by them and face God knew what fate. She spoke about the young German soldier that stopped to give her candy as he marched by her home one day; perhaps the sight of her playing brought to mind a daughter of his own back home. My father told me of the time he ran like the wind down some mountain trails, desperate to get away from the gunfire nearby that he was certain was closing in on him. He remembered having to share a small plate of food with a sibling, and eating as quickly as possible to get his fair share. There was never enough food on these shared plates and fights broke out between siblings if one of them ate faster than the other; one of his brothers, he said, got stabbed by a fork for eating too fast. He talked about the constant hunger, the perpetual despair, the young men in his town that fought in the war and never returned, the women who lost their husbands, the children that lost their parents and the diseases that claimed lives. It was, they both said, a terrible time.
But of all the stories I’d ever been told, nothing has touched my soul (or rocked my world) like the one my mother recounted of her cousin’s experience in a neighboring small town. Members of a communist movement raided this cousin’s community, slaughtering every resident, including women, children and the elderly. The bodies were callously tossed into the well, one of them being my mother’s cousin, who miraculously survived the massacre. When he was sure the ‘butchers’ had left, my mother’s cousin used the bodies as a ladder, climbing over friends, family members and townsfolk to get to the top of the well. Needless to say that this young man was never the same after this experience.
Listening to the elderly, especially those who have lived through and witnessed World War II, share such remarkable stories, is an amazing experience. I’ve had my fair share of such opportunities because most of the adults that I knew as a child came from different areas of Europe after the war, all with fascinating and distressing memories. A woman I worked with years ago, whose parents had immigrated from Poland, told me about her father having to dig a grave while being held at gunpoint by German soldiers that ordered him to prepare his grave because ‘today, you die’, only to be told after he finished that they were joking. He experienced this horror twice, something he never recovered from psychologically.
As unfortunate as it may be wars - with all their atrocities and with all the grief that they cause - have been a part of this world as long as man has existed. And as much as I hate to say it, they will almost certainly be a part of this world for a long time to come. During these periods, there have always been brave individuals who have joined forces to put an end to these conflicts, to stop the spread of evil, to liberate occupied countries, to help the weak, to fight for freedom. Brave individuals that have sacrificed, and continue to sacrifice, their lives and their futures so that people like me, and my children, and my children’s children, can live in peace.
Today is remembrance day, a day to commemorate the men and women who have made, and continue to make, these sacrifices on behalf of all of us.
To all these courageous people I say: “Thank you. I am living the life I have today because of you” Some of the photos above are from the Cataraqui Cemetery, which is located in my city, Kingston, Ontario. The two photos below are from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which is located in Washington, D.C. The reflections belong to my two daughters and my husband. - Martha Ploussos
Basil Markezinis regularly writes articles in Greek newspapers on foreign policy. Often his ideas are controversial but they are hardly ever irrelevant. He has also been a legal adviser to the Queen Elizabeth II of England is a member of seven foreign Academies. By the way he has also been knighted by the Queen Elizabeth II; however, since Greeks do not recognize titles this is irrelevant.
Markezinis has just written another insightful article published in the Greek newspaper, The Ethnos on Sunday (which can be accessed here) on Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, his ideas and Turkish foreign policy. Some believe Davutoglu is the theoretical architect of Turkey’s re-discovered Ottoman outlook often called "Neo-Ottomanism". Antipodes has written about Neo-Ottomanism and Davutoglu several times before which can be accessed here and here and even Greek Neo-Ottomanism which can be found here.
Recently, there is no doubt that Turkey has been demonstrating an ability to adapt to the new geo-strategic environment (following the collapse of the Soviet Union); specifically, developing multi-dimensional foreign policy initiatives and interventions from the Middle East to Caucasus and even as far as China. However, what are the ideas which underpin these manoeuvres?
Markezinis begins by providing valuable and often unknown information on Davutoglu, Turkey's foreign minister:
The first indication that Davutoglu’s way of thinking would prove decisive in the transformation of Turkish political culture came with the publication of his doctoral thesis, “Alternative Models: The impact of Islamic and Western world perspectives on political theory” (available in English from 1994). His work is characterised by containing aspects of most good theses: he appears widely read, he has abstract tendencies, uses excerpts from several languages and includes a dose of personal ideology. The author's focus is the importance of Islam; which, according to Davutoglu had been “exploited” by the West. One further indication of his robust academic background and the stability of his views is that Davutoglou repeatedly questions the American and Kemalist doctrines.
Markezinis alludes to something very important here which has, and is likely to continue, to re-orientate Turkish foreign policy going forward. Rather than eschewing the Islamic world view in favour of European Enlightenment-inspired but the essentially Asiatic despotism of Kemalism (which has driven Turkish foreign policy over the last 90 years or so), Davutoglu believes the Islamic world view should underpin Turkish foreign policy. Markezinis continues:
Over the next few years he further developed his ideas, starting with an article written in 1988, entitled “A Conflict of Interest: An explanation of World Ataxias”. The article questioned the ideas of the major thinkers of the period e.g. the "globalization of political values and institutions of Western civilization” of Fukuyama, the (inevitability) of the “clash of civilizations” of Huntington (who overlooked the fact that the most destructive wars were not between different cultures but “wars within civilizations between systemic forces of Euro-western culture”), and the individual theory of Huntington of a permanent “Islamic threat” - which helped to shape Davutoglu's next theoretical step. Davutoglu then went on to argue that Turkey (and by implication Islam) could help to promote co-existence, and not, as pursued by the Americans, the homogenization of cultures. These views found fullest expression, three years later, in his book “Strategic Depth: The international position of Turkey”, published in 2001 in Turkish. In March 2003, with the advent to power of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) of Erdogan, the ideas of Davutoglou were progressively incorporated into Turkish foreign policy.
We should recall that the Ottoman Empire was governed by a "millet system" where the subjects of the Sultan were grouped amongst their various religions and governed by a religious leader with the Sultan as the supreme leader. Is this the sort of system that Davutoglu is referring to when he writes that Islam can help to promote co-existence?
Citizens in central Athens, and specifically in the Aghios Panteliomanas area have taken the law into their own hands. The surge in crime and delinquent behavior in their area from migrant gangs, which has continued undisturbed for years now, has forced them to feel helpless and unprotected by the State and even hostages in their own homes. Just this past week an illegal immigrant walked into the last Greek barber shop in the area and stabbed its 45-year old owner on what was later reported to be a mere 20 Euros. Luckily the barber was discovered by a local resident on time and he is now battling for his life in a central Athens hospital. The news about the attack spread quickly and generated anger from the residents, and this gave way to horrific scenes in Athens on Friday night that can only be compared to a violent gang movie.
Outraged from the attack, and frustrated by the non-action of the State, citizens massed, and smashed the stories of foreigners, while it was also reported that an immigrant was also stabbed on St. Meletius. Around 12 arrests were made and from what we hear the situation has yet to calm down.
Clearly the attempted murder of the barber sparked a storm of negative reaction from people who up until yesterday were friendly and welcoming to all. Obviously their memories are still haunted by the scenes from the brutal murder over a year ago of a young father who was stabbed to death by three illegal immigrants just one hour before welcoming his newborn child into the world.
Tensions in this neglected, crime-ridden part of Athens with growing immigrant communities has been mounting for years. The everyday give-and-take between local residents and all these dangerous gangs certainly escalated on Friday night. The citizens could not control their anger, and therefore massed and called on officials to investigate several "key" shops in the area which they claim systematically smuggle cigarettes, contraband products, and other illegal goods.
The residents in the area of Aghios Panteliomanas have continually called on officials to perform a routine check on these particular shops, or at least force authorities to check if they are operating with valid permits and are on the up and up, but until now the pro-PASOK and pro-SYRIZA Athens municipality has yet to respond to their calls.
The police eventually arrived and threw tear gas at the residents who were so fired up from everything that has been occurring in their neighborhoods that it was very difficult to calm them down. What they did was wrong. Violence is certainly not the answer. Raising awareness is. And because they were clouded with anger and probably could not think straight when they attacked these shops, I will raise awareness for them, by simply listing the facts.
Disturbing is the fact that the foreign media, which is quick to report a supposed attack on a migrant, refuses to publish a story that involves attacks on Greek citizens. Also, they love to talk about stormtroopers and the Golden Dawn party but never once talk about the fact that there are Muslim leaders operating in Greece who are wanted by Interpol for human trafficking by their own governments in Pakistan.
I mean did any of you come across a story this past week about the barber being stabbed? The few stories we found on Google and in the Greek press talked about light wounds.
Get real, missing the heart by several centimeters is not a light wound!
Can't all these damn globalists get it through their thick heads that violence cannot be accepted from either side. Why weren't there any tears over the barber?
I mean seriously folks... Think about it. Why is it ok when someone from the Left takes a marble slab and smashes it on the head of someone from the Righr, and its not ok when this happens the other way around?
Is it because as a society in Greece we have been brainwashed to believe that being a Leftist means that we are rebels? And rebels resort to violence therefore its ok?
And if that is the case... then why the shock from the far-right?
What kind of sick and twisted society is this?
Violence here, violence there... and innocent people are either losing their lives or getting seriously harmed.
Isn't it all sickening?
And to think that this is a huge story, with very dangerous dimensions and no one gives a damn in the media world. I mean there is a damn blood bath happening in the center of Athens, and the Greek media is just too busy practising what they do best -which is being a repeater- while the foreign media -which is presently massing in Athens ahead of the austerity vote on Tuesday- is too busy drinking lattes in some posh hotel. It is like they are sooooo busy that they don't want to even address the issue. I don't buy into it. They won't dare to talk about real issues, such as human and drug trafficking, because they probably have to WORK. Or in all fairness, it could be something else. Do they want chaos? Or do they want anarchy to take over? Is this the next chapter in the "Shock Doctrine"?
It makes me want to vomit.
To think that all these foreign media services are currently in Athens to cover the austerity vote next week...
Are they waiting for something?
Is this the reason someone suddenly walked into a barber shop and stabbed an innocent Greek citizen for a mere 20 Euros knowing that it will lead to a reaction from the residents in this area who have over the last 3-4 years watched their lives turned upside down from this indescribable violence?
Friends use your common sense.
Clearly our creditors do not give a damn about our health and well-being because benefits such as security, and police patrols are now considered a luxury or probably cost too much money for them.
That is why the people in this neighborhood took the law into their own hands because they have nothing to lose anymore. They have been stripped of every type of social dignity there is. They are witnesses to every type of crime in the book every day, and small children are being subjected to horific scenes of violence. And if that isn't enough global organizations also have the b***lls to call these people racists for wanting the OBVIOUS... Peace in their neighborhood.
Friends, do not be fooled. The organizations that are pointing the finger at these people, and to all Greek people now, are in most cases shady George Soros backed humanitarian groups. Just the other day this sinister man, who is probably the most loathed man on earth after Henry Kissinger, announced that he wanted to fund housing for all these illegal immigrants because they are not being treated well in Greek detention centers in his opinion.Of course, of course.
What did he expect champagne and caviar at detention centers?
Or cricket matches?
Is he for real?
What is most troubling is that Mr. Soros has never made a similar offer for Greek citizens. Over the past two and half years, or since this crisis began, more than 3,000 Greeks have committed suicide, millions are starving, there are thousands homeless, millions are unemployed, others have lost all their savings, thousands have immigrated to every corner of this earth and Mr. Soros felt the need to be charitable with foreigners who in all reality forced their way into our country illegally.
And not one, NOT ONE, foreign media outlet has asked itself why?
Instead you all call us racists?
Why not take them into your own home Mr. Soros? Obviously you don't want them in detention centers because while there they cannot do your bidding now can they? They are under the watchful eye of the State.
I am angry and demand to know why we are being pushed to accept this massive change in our country. Is this what progress and moving forward into the new millennia is all about? It can't be, it is killing our society. It is harming our people, our country, its culture, everything! Our communities are now becoming violent! Is anyone listening?
Anyone in their right mind, given the circumstances would obviously agree with me. With the exception of course of some radical Leftists. The extreme Leftists in Greece who are nothing like the real anti-war, activists I know in other countries only want to increase their voting power and believe that by supporting these people that they will finally seize power. And the reason I am so critical of them is simple. They are far from being "socialists". I mean how can you claim to be a socialist when you own a luxury yacht and a home in Ekali? (which is like Beverly Hills). Seriously... Is it proper, or is it normal for you to speak about sharing the wealth when you know that you have millions stashed away in Swiss bank accounts?
Hello!!!
You are supporting human trafficking for obvious reasons which probably deal with greed!
Yes you read correctly... Why not call it for what it is.
When illegal immigrants pay a smuggler money and are then trafficked into another country, then what is that called... luxury travel?
Oh.. And By the way, explain to us please how they find 4 or 5,000 euros that you claim it costs them for this trip. I mean are they or are they not from third world nations? From what I know these nations do not pay out more than 2 Euros a day to their workers. So how on earth do they manage to gather the money together. I mean if this were true then that would mean that they would have to work at least 10 years, not live and certainly not spend any money on food, just so that they can afford to pay for this trip. No. Can't buy into it. Something else is going on here and it STINKS.
But getting back to what we were discussing before, Leftists in Greece actually believe that free residency should be given to anyone who asks for it and they even have the audacity to call anyone who opposes this idea -or even dares to question why they support it - a racist. So much so that they inspired Leftist newspapers across Europe and Soros backed NGOs to begin saying the same thing. And if that wasn't enough even the United Nations began to point the finger at Greeks noting that we need to be friendlier to these poor impoverished people.
Nice philosophy, or rather nice try, from all these wanna-be's, but it's not going to cut it, and as you will read further down I have listed many reasons why this is not going to work. Obviously giving asylum and/or legalizing all these people would only harm our democracy both on a national and European level.
Aside from the cultural clash, we do not know anything about these people because in most cases they tear up their documentation when they illegally or forcefully enter our country. They could be wanted criminals, terrorists, they could be carriers of rare diseases, etc.. We are clueless. Some sort of documentation is needed, and this is not available in most cases.
Then there are the organizations that defend and support them. They too are "shady' and really should be investigated by competent officials. Their claim that these people pay a certain amount of X money in order to be smuggled into Europe is a damn lie. And I truly believe it. After calculating all the information that is already on the Internet, reading report after report, and watching a series of documentaries I firmly believe that these people are being smuggled into Europe to either be recruited in slave camps for work, or to be used as slaves in the fields, or to either be used in criminal activity, or for prostitution, for illegal arms sales, or to traffic drugs. I am even convinced that their smugglers probably even credit this money to them before they even set off on their journey promising a life of abundance to them to sweeten the package. I remember one such documentary about the human trafficking of women, and how they are forced to pay off thousands of dollars by sleeping with 15 and even 20 men a day or else their families would seriously be harmed in their homelands. These women are still being trafficked this way, and can easily be spotted in strip clubs, or in brothels across Greece. But of course... drinking coffee in central Athens is probably more important to our international correspondents than actually tackling subjects such as these.
Speaking of such reports, a recent Balkan analysis report on organized crime in Greece points out that there is a sharp increase in organized crime in Greece, a trend accompanied by the country’s ongoing economic crisis and marked by the involvement of transnational crime organizations and illegal immigrant groups.
The information gathered by Balkanalysis.com from police sources, media reports and special field research in Athens indicates that Greek authorities – with assistance from strategic foreign partners like Israel – are taking measures to combat the crime wave and reduce the power of criminal groups. Nonetheless, organized crime syndicates in Greece have been expanding steadily over the past decade.
It says that the existence of an abundance of illegal firearms and illicit market for them, the concentration in certain locales of illegal immigration populations, and the severe economic crisis gripping the country has provided an ideal climate in which criminal groups are able to arm themselves, recruit “foot soldiers” and generally increase their clout. Greek authorities estimate that some 1.5 million firearms exist in the country; however, the number of licensed owners of hunting rifles does not exceed 300,000 people, meaning that the rest of the weapons are illegally owned.
And if that wasn't enough, in its recent report on Terrorism in 2009, the US State Department pointed out that “Greece is increasingly an EU entry point for illegal immigrants coming from the Middle East and South Asia and there was concern that it could be used as a transit route for terrorists travelling to Europe and the United States." Read that story by clicking here - http://hellasfrappe.blogspot.gr/2011/11/radical-islam-passing-through-greece.html
Also months earlier we had also re-published a story from international analyst Ioannis Michelatos that said that the Greek secret service has mapped a transnational network of radicals that has been developing in Greece over the past few years. Field informants indicate that this semi-legal web spreads across five different communities, including:
Mosques and local Muslim communities
Humanitarian organizations and NGOs
Islamic cultural centers in Europe
Foreign political, economic and religious elites
International Islamist terrorist organizations
The key members of this network, according to Michaletos, are (referred to as “The Union of Mosques” or “The Union of Imams”) and have military training and combat experience and are well connected with terrorist groups, foreign governments and the Muslim Diaspora in Europe (mainly in Britain, Italy and France). They use criminal activities to finance and facilitate their ideological objectives. The most noticeable illegal activities they conduct are passport forging, arms trafficking, people smuggling and drug trafficking. Finally, according to the same sources, the network has developed an internal structure to support fundraising, recruitment and other activities. Read more about that by clicking here http://hellasfrappe.blogspot.gr/2011/08/country-outlook-islam-in-greece.html
And I ask... How can people not REACT when they know all the above?
How can the press deliberately bat its eyes to such information, and only talk about racist Greeks? Is it because Soros' foundations are not only generous with illegal immigrant organizations? Has he been dabbling with the media as well? Is that why?
As for the people of Aghios Panteleimonas, the only thing left for them to do is to raise even more awareness to as many people as they can about what is going on in their neighborhood. They have a long struggle ahead of them which cannot result to violence again because it will backfire on them and not present their cause for what it is. Besides, it is never the solution.
Under normal conditions, and through legal channels, had these migrants -whom might indeed be in desperate need to find their silver lining in Europe- applied for residency like we all did when we immigrated to Canada, to the US, to Australia, to England, to the UK, etc, then I am certain that the people of Aghios Panteleimonas -as well as across Greece- would of lived in harmony with them, or at least would not resent them.
But because Greeks are now looked at as the "bad boys" of Europe, we don't even deserve this right.
Instead, our European allies are purposely allowing our country to become the dumping ground for all the traffic that is entering the EU from the Islamic world.
And I ask WHY?
Why are you doing this to this country?
Is this how you plan to kneel us and conform to all your wishes? Is this how you plan to wipe us out as a people and have slaves working in southern europe so that you can compete with countries like China? Do you really believe that you can? Hello... They are billions. We are ants to them.
Greece is a patient and generous nation, but damn its people have had enough and they have reached their limit! I mean just the other day, several mothers from a daycare that operates in the same area asked that the center stops accepting Greek children because they were outnumbered by foreigners. And this is just one example of how hate is slowly brewing in a society that gave the world democracy.
The world just simply refuses to allow this country to breath. For two years you continue to hit us with your ratings, your austerity, your influx of illegal workers and all this for what? To belittle us? FOR WHAT? Don't you realize that you cannot achieve this. We see it for what it is. And because we do, we will fight it with every means possible. Others will spread awareness, others will protest, others will unite voices. We will not accept the destruction of our country. We know that strong societies and united communities cannot be controlled, and we know that you do not like this and that is why we refuse to be controlled by anyone.
My advice to the foreign press would be to break out of the bubble they are in and see this for what it is. We do not deserve this as a people and they should be reporting this.
Support the truth!
Instead of talking about racist Greeks, why not try and tackle the illegal movement of goods, or people. Oh... and while you are at it, why not do some self-criticism as well. Why not analyze why you always fail to mention that the nationalist movements in your own countries are much stronger than that of Greece. Why not speak about the violence that you too are seeing and experiencing on your own city streets. I mean get real. We read the news. We know what is going on. I can give you 100 stories in a flick of the wrist from the Telegraph, the Guardian, etc... We know that you understand very well what we are talking about.
But no. Concentrate on the bad kids of Europe. Time to point the finger at the bad ones.
Who are you people anyway? And why do you feel so superior to us?
Have you realized who we are?
WE gave you the freedom of expression, WE gave you the incentive to think, WE gave you the inspiration to analyze. Yes. Digest it. WE the GREEKS, the bad boys of Europe, the racists as you now call us were so generous that we even gave you the name Europe!
Just before I close this story, and while checking for an update I read on defencenet that the situation is still tense there and there are now fears that anti-authoritarians or anarchists will group together with gangs of illegal immigrants and create serious chaos in the forthcoming hours.
Residents have called out to the State to intervene and protect their well-being. We seriously hope that they will be protectedand that they will refrain from violence.
Knowing the way the press works, if such scenes eventually happen all the foreign media will care about is skyrocketing its ratings. I can just see producers on BBC, CNN, etc... rubbing their hands with glee. Who cares if people get hurt... These reporters are too busy right now networking, mingling, drinking martinis, waiting for the frustration to spillover in Athens so that they can shoot some nice scenes this forthcoming week when the Greek government votes for the new austerity measures.
How convenient, and how predictable!
Friends, violence is not the answer from either side, whether you are from the right or the left. I cannot applaud the actions of the residents, because I seriously do not believe in a "you slap me so I will slap you" ideology. I feel that as a true Hellene, our people are above that.
We are Hellenes. We always had sophistication and logic and we should never forget that, but rather put it into concrete use. This is the only way we can challenge this new threat.
You have probably heard this speech before, but nonetheless we here at HellasFrappe feel that it deserves your attention once again. Listen carefully to this incredible audio recording of a speech made by US President John F. Kennedy before the American Newspaper Publishers Association on April 27, 1961 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York City. In the two videos below, JFK directly warns the press about the secret societies that are the real power in global -economic and political- affairs. After reading or listening to the whole speech, pause for a moment and think about the developments in your area of the world. Are there forces that are imposing their interests on your government? And if yes, then ask yourself what you as a citizen can do to expose them. You have to stop feeling secure with your Plasma TVs and begin feeling secure in a world with real democracy. Indeed JFK attempted to that, and it eventually cost him his life... but keep in mind, we are not the same society we were in the 60s. We are a new generation, which is better educated, and more aware of what is going on. Spread the word, and raise awareness, the New World Order cannot win... they are only one percent and we are 99/% !!!
President John F. Kennedy Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York City April 27, 1961 Mr. Chairman, ladies and gentlemen: I appreciate very much your generous invitation to be here tonight. You bear heavy responsibilities these days and an article I read some time ago reminded me of how particularly heavily the burdens of present day events bear upon your profession. You may remember that in 1851 the New York Herald Tribune under the sponsorship and publishing of Horace Greeley, employed as its London correspondent an obscure journalist by the name of Karl Marx. We are told that foreign correspondent Marx, stone broke, and with a family ill and undernourished, constantly appealed to Greeley and managing editor Charles Dana for an increase in his munificent salary of $5 per installment, a salary which he and Engels ungratefully labeled as the "lousiest petty bourgeois cheating." But when all his financial appeals were refused, Marx looked around for other means of livelihood and fame, eventually terminating his relationship with the Tribune and devoting his talents full time to the cause that would bequeath the world the seeds of Leninism, Stalinism, revolution and the cold war. If only this capitalistic New York newspaper had treated him more kindly; if only Marx had remained a foreign correspondent, history might have been different. And I hope all publishers will bear this lesson in mind the next time they receive a poverty-stricken appeal for a small increase in the expense account from an obscure newspaper man. I have selected as the title of my remarks tonight "The President and the Press." Some may suggest that this would be more naturally worded "The President Versus the Press." But those are not my sentiments tonight. It is true, however, that when a well-known diplomat from another country demanded recently that our State Department repudiate certain newspaper attacks on his colleague it was unnecessary for us to reply that this Administration was not responsible for the press, for the press had already made it clear that it was not responsible for this Administration. Nevertheless, my purpose here tonight is not to deliver the usual assault on the so-called one party press. On the contrary, in recent months I have rarely heard any complaints about political bias in the press except from a few Republicans. Nor is it my purpose tonight to discuss or defend the televising of Presidential press conferences. I think it is highly beneficial to have some 20,000,000 Americans regularly sit in on these conferences to observe, if I may say so, the incisive, the intelligent and the courteous qualities displayed by your Washington correspondents. Nor, finally, are these remarks intended to examine the proper degree of privacy which the press should allow to any President and his family. If in the last few months your White House reporters and photographers have been attending church services with regularity, that has surely done them no harm. On the other hand, I realize that your staff and wire service photographers may be complaining that they do not enjoy the same green privileges at the local golf courses that they once did. It is true that my predecessor did not object as I do to pictures of one's golfing skill in action. But neither on the other hand did he ever bean a Secret Service man. My topic tonight is a more sober one of concern to publishers as well as editors. I want to talk about our common responsibilities in the face of a common danger. The events of recent weeks may have helped to illuminate that challenge for some; but the dimensions of its threat have loomed large on the horizon for many years. Whatever our hopes may be for the future--for reducing this threat or living with it--there is no escaping either the gravity or the totality of its challenge to our survival and to our security--a challenge that confronts us in unaccustomed ways in every sphere of human activity. This deadly challenge imposes upon our society two requirements of direct concern both to the press and to the President--two requirements that may seem almost contradictory in tone, but which must be reconciled and fulfilled if we are to meet this national peril. I refer, first, to the need for a far greater public information; and, second, to the need for far greater official secrecy. I The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know. But I do ask every publisher, every editor, and every newsman in the nation to reexamine his own standards, and to recognize the nature of our country's peril. In time of war, the government and the press have customarily joined in an effort based largely on self-discipline, to prevent unauthorized disclosures to the enemy. In time of "clear and present danger," the courts have held that even the privileged rights of the First Amendment must yield to the public's need for national security. Today no war has been declared--and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe. The survival of our friends is in danger. And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired. If the press is awaiting a declaration of war before it imposes the self-discipline of combat conditions, then I can only say that no war ever posed a greater threat to our security. If you are awaiting a finding of "clear and present danger," then I can only say that the danger has never been more clear and its presence has never been more imminent. It requires a change in outlook, a change in tactics, a change in missions--by the government, by the people, by every businessman or labor leader, and by every newspaper. For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match. Nevertheless, every democracy recognizes the necessary restraints of national security--and the question remains whether those restraints need to be more strictly observed if we are to oppose this kind of attack as well as outright invasion. For the facts of the matter are that this nation's foes have openly boasted of acquiring through our newspapers information they would otherwise hire agents to acquire through theft, bribery or espionage; that details of this nation's covert preparations to counter the enemy's covert operations have been available to every newspaper reader, friend and foe alike; that the size, the strength, the location and the nature of our forces and weapons, and our plans and strategy for their use, have all been pinpointed in the press and other news media to a degree sufficient to satisfy any foreign power; and that, in at least in one case, the publication of details concerning a secret mechanism whereby satellites were followed required its alteration at the expense of considerable time and money. The newspapers which printed these stories were loyal, patriotic, responsible and well-meaning. Had we been engaged in open warfare, they undoubtedly would not have published such items. But in the absence of open warfare, they recognized only the tests of journalism and not the tests of national security. And my question tonight is whether additional tests should not now be adopted. The question is for you alone to answer. No public official should answer it for you. No governmental plan should impose its restraints against your will. But I would be failing in my duty to the nation, in considering all of the responsibilities that we now bear and all of the means at hand to meet those responsibilities, if I did not commend this problem to your attention, and urge its thoughtful consideration. On many earlier occasions, I have said--and your newspapers have constantly said--that these are times that appeal to every citizen's sense of sacrifice and self-discipline. They call out to every citizen to weigh his rights and comforts against his obligations to the common good. I cannot now believe that those citizens who serve in the newspaper business consider themselves exempt from that appeal. I have no intention of establishing a new Office of War Information to govern the flow of news. I am not suggesting any new forms of censorship or any new types of security classifications. I have no easy answer to the dilemma that I have posed, and would not seek to impose it if I had one. But I am asking the members of the newspaper profession and the industry in this country to reexamine their own responsibilities, to consider the degree and the nature of the present danger, and to heed the duty of self-restraint which that danger imposes upon us all. Every newspaper now asks itself, with respect to every story: "Is it news?" All I suggest is that you add the question: "Is it in the interest of the national security?" And I hope that every group in America--unions and businessmen and public officials at every level-- will ask the same question of their endeavors, and subject their actions to the same exacting tests. And should the press of America consider and recommend the voluntary assumption of specific new steps or machinery, I can assure you that we will cooperate whole-heartedly with those recommendations. Perhaps there will be no recommendations. Perhaps there is no answer to the dilemma faced by a free and open society in a cold and secret war. In times of peace, any discussion of this subject, and any action that results, are both painful and without precedent. But this is a time of peace and peril which knows no precedent in history. II It is the unprecedented nature of this challenge that also gives rise to your second obligation--an obligation which I share. And that is our obligation to inform and alert the American people--to make certain that they possess all the facts that they need, and understand them as well--the perils, the prospects, the purposes of our program and the choices that we face. No President should fear public scrutiny of his program. For from that scrutiny comes understanding; and from that understanding comes support or opposition. And both are necessary. I am not asking your newspapers to support the Administration, but I am asking your help in the tremendous task of informing and alerting the American people. For I have complete confidence in the response and dedication of our citizens whenever they are fully informed. I not only could not stifle controversy among your readers--I welcome it. This Administration intends to be candid about its errors; for as a wise man once said: "An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it." We intend to accept full responsibility for our errors; and we expect you to point them out when we miss them. Without debate, without criticism, no Administration and no country can succeed--and no republic can survive. That is why the Athenian lawmaker Solon decreed it a crime for any citizen to shrink from controversy. And that is why our press was protected by the First Amendment-- the only business in America specifically protected by the Constitution- -not primarily to amuse and entertain, not to emphasize the trivial and the sentimental, not to simply "give the public what it wants"--but to inform, to arouse, to reflect, to state our dangers and our opportunities, to indicate our crises and our choices, to lead, mold, educate and sometimes even anger public opinion. This means greater coverage and analysis of international news--for it is no longer far away and foreign but close at hand and local. It means greater attention to improved understanding of the news as well as improved transmission. And it means, finally, that government at all levels, must meet its obligation to provide you with the fullest possible information outside the narrowest limits of national security--and we intend to do it. III It was early in the Seventeenth Century that Francis Bacon remarked on three recent inventions already transforming the world: the compass, gunpowder and the printing press. Now the links between the nations first forged by the compass have made us all citizens of the world, the hopes and threats of one becoming the hopes and threats of us all. In that one world's efforts to live together, the evolution of gunpowder to its ultimate limit has warned mankind of the terrible consequences of failure. And so it is to the printing press--to the recorder of man's deeds, the keeper of his conscience, the courier of his news--that we look for strength and assistance, confident that with your help man will be what he was born to be: free and independent.
The mass rally in Omonia Square on Sunday by fanatical religious groups who were protesting against a "hate film" definitely shocked Greek society, but what was even more terrifying was coming into the realization that Islamic fundamentalism has now made its way to our country. Going through the blog sphere on Monday we read many articles about yesterday's events and were horrified with some of the information we uncovered.
But before we reveal some of this information to you, and analyze the events, we want to underline that the protesters destroyed Greek private property as well as caused total chaos in a country that until yesterday was a friend to many Arabic nations and this indeed is hurtful to many Greek people.
All this of course happened on account of some statements from several buffoons who obviously influenced a group of desperate people to begin destabilizing the peace in our country by making inflammatory statements about our leadership days before.
And we ask.. if a former Minister of government says live on camera that one of these organizers works as an agent for Turkey, and if news reports claim that the other organizer was arrested several months ago by Interpol for smuggling and trafficking Pakistani nationals into Greece, then it is obvious that Greek security officials know who they are and should finally do something to shut their traps! We also believe that the State should also take this issue to the EU, and request that they be deported or at least convicted.
In all reality they wanted to frighten and intimidate Greek citizens and they also indirectly wanted to warn the Christian community about the coming of Islam. One example of this is the photo below which clearly says (in the English language) that "Democracy and Freedom ion death row - Islam is coming". And here is where it gets a little funny, or suspicious, the same poster with the same words were also used in a similar protest London. Hmmm.... (organized?)
What we can say for certain though is that the gathering on Sunday and other similar demonstrations that have been held around Athens and Piraeus lately (all of which were supported by the Left) show a new emerging force that is well-organized and that can easily be used as a tool by foreigners who would like nothing more than to influence the developments in Greece to tilt their way.
So why all this fury? It is our belief that Sunday's protests might -on the surface- show that they were rallying against a "hate film" but we actually believe it is deeper.
Some blogs on Monday were saying that the reasons for all these protest are in fact another chapter of the Holy War, which Islam is not hesitant to start. The doctrine says that in such a case, the faithful should be the ones to preserve Islam at all costs with the assistance, of course, of the Prophet. Our aim, however, is not to stage a trial and speak about religious fanaticism, because even Christians followed violent and obscure methods in the past that had nothing to do with the Holy Bible and its teachings.
What we want to say, however, is that unlike Christianity, nations that embraced Islam did not also embrace democracy. For example freedom of expression is something we cherish in the West, but in an Islamic nation this is almost non-existent. Everything in their nations is sacrificed for the sake of a religious doctrine.
That is why our worlds will forever clash.
Greeks believe that democracies can not function that way, and can not be guided by respective doctrinal religious beliefs. In fact we believe the exact opposite. democracies should be those that define and reshape religions with a view to coexistence. Groups who refuse to leave this type of darkness and fanaticism and forcefully try to impose their religious beliefs on people of other faiths will certainly will be isolated by all of Greek society.
That is why the Ministry of Public Order must act efficiently and effectively against this new threat and it must do this quickly before its too late because we fear that this will be repeated.
The groups that made their presence known in Omonia on Sunday should come to the realization that they HAVE NO RIGHT to vandalize our city, they HAVE NO RIGHT to impose their religious ideologies on us, and they HAVE NO RIGHT to disrespect the country in which they presently live in.
Also we have had it up to here with the until now "dominant ideology" of some buffoons -who play wanna-be humanitarians- and have allowed Greece to evolve into a circus where every type of public order is never enforced because our leaders are either too afraid to act, are influenced by Soros-led NGO's that call them human violations, or because they just are plain incompetent.
Moreover, the the TOTAL hypocrisy of the European Union should also be addressed since Northerners easily focus on neo-fascism and refuse to talk about the problem of illegal immigration faced by all of the countries in the south, especially Greece. Take some reporters in The Guardian for example, who never dare to criticise the actions of the Left, but always speak of neo-nazis and bullies.
Don't all these people realize that their attitude and their tolerance of such violence is what has allowed the Golden Dawn party to score big numbers with the people? People are terrified and cannot rely on the State and the police anymore. If on the other, the State finally decided to come out of its coma and crack down on this problem -and literally pull it out by the root- then we would not be analyzing this issue today and certainly Golden Dawn would not be considered an emerging political force either.
Being a conservative and an advocate for democracy myself, I refuse to believe that all those of Muslim faith harbor the same type of ideologies, or are as equally fanatical, and violent, but nonetheless I am worried that there is a large majority of these people who obviously can not understand and embrace the basic principles of Western society and democracy which are still alive in our country. Besides, their presence has already gradually destroyed the social fabric that our country was built on since their lifestyles are obviously culturally and religiously incompatible with ours. Secondly, what most progressive advocates of multiculturalism can not understand, or rather refuse to admit, is that is that Islam is not only about religion but is also about politics.
That said, it is literally impossible for these people to integrate into our society. And that is why we believe the scenes on Sunday will be repeated and in the long term they will also challenge our democratic rights and our fundamental freedoms. And think about it... if I were planning to destabilize a country, as Kissinger so spitefully said back in the 70s about Greece, wouldn't I attack their religion and fundamental freedoms? Friends... if a police State can emerge in the West with laws that slap down on basic human rights, then this can also happen in a country which gave the world democracy. In fact I truly and without a doubt believe that these basic two human rights will become the biggest issues that will be questioned in the years to come, all because of this new type of threat that was forced on to us by "shady interests", the blessings of Greece's Left and the country's fearful elite.
Are NATO member countries viewed as gangster controlled rogue states trying to start World War 3 in order to set up a cabal controlled “New World Order” totalitarian government? Has the pentagon and the governments of China, India, Russia, Brazil and most other countries made it very clear this is not going to happen? Did the US pentagon warn Netanyahu that if he attempts to send off a cruise missile they would blow it out of the water and then go after him?
Has the Euro crisis been placed on the back burner as everybody takes their holidays and rather expected to get far worse in the autumn? Did an MI5 agent based in England claim that the Euro was originally financed by bonds taken by George Bush Sr. from Soong Mei-Ling, the wife of Kuomintang leader Chiang Kai-Shek?
No one knows, but Benjamin Fulford's article this week is an eye-opener (to say the least).

Pentagon Informs Netanyahu There Will Be No Greater Khazarian Empire
There was a time when the member countries of NATO could convince most of the world they were the “good guys” promoting democracy, human rights and economic development. Now, they are seen as gangster controlled rogue states trying to start World War 3 in order to set up a cabal controlled “New World Order” totalitarian government. Fortunately for us all, the pentagon and the governments of China, India, Russia, Brazil and most other countries have made it very clear this is not going to happen. That is why the horrifying mass murder being carried out in Syria by cabal mercenaries is not getting the intended results.
When Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel recently tried to stir the pot in the US, his activities, e-mails, phone calls etc. were all monitored after which an official from the pentagon warned Netanyahu “If you try to send off a cruise missile we will blow it out of the water and then come for you.” Oops. Then Egypt’s new government removed cabal proxies from the military and sent tanks to the Israeli border. Oops again.
Message to the Jews: You have been kicked out of over 100 countries in the past 2000 years http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/expelled.htm so, you must stop pretending you were always just innocent victims. It is time to stop thinking in terms of “us” (Jews) and “them” (Goyim), and start behaving like a civilized people all from the same human race. The Jews are like a beautiful woman (the decent and honorable majority) with syphilis (the gangsters hiding in their midst). If the Jewish people do not remove the criminals from the top of their own leadership, they may once again suffer collective punishment for the actions of a tiny criminal minority. Fortunately, there are signs of just such an internal purge.
The side of the financial industry that has long valued integrity, honesty and fair play has been stealthily preparing to purge the criminal fraudsters who turned their industry into a giant orgy of criminal looting.
The Federal Reserve Board, the European Central Bank and the Bank for International Settlements are thus now facing an existential crisis. That is because multiple law-suits and criminal investigations are closing in from all sides.
The Neil Keenan (he is Irish) lawsuit, is one of the most important one of those because it reveals the true motives of the Kennedy (and countless other) assassinations and the systematic looting of the global collateral accounts by a tiny but powerful mafia group. Keenan has returned from a trip to Indonesia with a whole raft of documents revealing the true extent of the criminality of the bankster families that own the Federal Reserve Board. Work is now continuing to make sure a US court can be given clear jurisdiction on this case so that an un-corruptible judge can finally deliver justice.
Even if this lawsuit remains in limbo as various delaying tactics continue to be deployed, the writing is still on the wall for the cabal.
For one thing, the US government will have accumulated over $1 trillion in new debt in the fiscal period ending on September 30th and will be looking to borrow more for the new fiscal period. The Chinese will be changing two thirds of their top leaders in November and the US is also scheduled for regime change then so you can be sure there will be some very high stakes horse trading going on in October.
The Chinese know that time is on their side because as long as the cabal continues to chain the US economy to the one-eyed pyramid dollar the US will continue to lose its manufacturing base. The pentagon and the military industrial complex also know that the sooner they cut a deal, the better a deal they will get.
Mathematically speaking there are only two real choices. One is for the US to issue a devalued treasury dollar in exchange for a one-off debt write off. The other is to wait for US income levels to fall to Chinese levels.
Either of these two choices will make the US real economy once again competitive. The first will mean a sudden jolt as the economy returns to reality and all those Chinese knick knacks at Walmart suddenly become expensive. This will be followed by a quick boost in the real economy and manufacturing, led by exports and domestic demand. The other will mean unemployment and misery will steadily increase until enough people are willing to work for Chinese wages.
In Europe, meanwhile, the Euro crisis has gone to the back burner as everybody takes their holidays but it will get far worse in the autumn. Once again, there is no need for secret inside sources to see what is going on. The Europeans (especially the one living along the Mediterranean) have been spending more than they have earned for 30 years and creditors have come a calling. The Germans could not afford to bail out their irresponsible Southern cousins even if they wanted to. The people of Iceland showed the way with a sudden 15% drop in income (in other words back to what they earn doing real things like fishing) followed by a rapid recovery and the arrest of guilty bankers. This is what must happen in other countries if this crisis is to end.
There is also an old historical injustice at work here, according to some sources. The Euro was originally financed by bonds taken by George Bush Sr. from Soong Mei-Ling, the wife of Kuomintang leader Chiang Kai-Shek, according to an MI5 agent based in England. These bonds were put in a “trading program” to generate funds for the long term project to turn Europe into a fourth Reich, according to this agent, who specializes in studying Nazis. These funds were frozen 18 months ago by the BIS and that has been a principle cause of the Euro crisis, he says.
Multiple sources in Asia also mention Soong Mei-Ling as a key player in the current crisis and several (including senior Yakuza sources) make the extraordinary claim she is still alive (that would make her 114 years old but Wikipedia says she died in 2003).
What is clear though is that the new regime taking over in China in November will be less influenced by the Western cabal than the outgoing regime was.
The P2 fascist freemason lodge in Italy has bragged that they financed and supported communism. That gave them greater influence over the communist youth league faction of outgoing leader Hu Jintao than it will have over incoming “princeling” leader Xi Jinping.
The incoming leadership group has already informed the White Dragon Society that it supports their proposal for the creation of a meritocratically staffed international economic planning agency.
Also, negotiations between a White Dragon Society representative and a North Korean representative have now been set for later this month but the new regime of Kim Jong-Un has already made it clear they are ready to break out of the old cold-war “bad guy” role they have been forced to play.
In any case, as autumn approaches, the various interested parties need to stop digging up the past and fighting each other and focus instead on creating an ideal world.
