It looks like the striking cleaning ladies from the Greek finance ministry will just have to wait until October 2015 to find out whether or not they could once again be reinstated. It should be reminded that the women were suspended in September 2013 as part of the availability measures implemented by the government, and lost their jobs nine months later.
The Greek Supreme Court on Tuesday decided to postpone their hearing and as such it is now scheduled for October 13th.
Prior to winning the elections, the radical Leftist government SYRIZA had pledged to reinstate their jobs. After assuming power on January 25th, SYRIZA also pledged that their reinstatement would be a priority for the new government.
