On his part, Karatzaferis (surprise surprise) did not rule out the possibility (he was probably instead rubbing his hands with glee).
The president of LAOS who from this blog has been characterized as an opportunist at times said that he heard what Voridis said and will do whatever he could so that Tsipras and his main opposition SYRIZA party never govern the country.
(This is the same man who backed George Papandreou with the initial Memorandums that sent Greece into the arms of the Troika, made a mockery out of Costas Karamanlis while he was leader of the New Democracy party, and the same man who endorsed Lucas Papademos as prime minister!)
Supporting his view, Voridis said that “now that a broader discussion begins on how Greece will move on, it is obvious that all these that have separated people who normally belong to the same ideological and political camp stop existing”.
Elaborating further he said that any political choices will be made by Antonis Samaras because "he will be the one who will handle political issues”.
Editor's Note: Karamanlis supporters will never accept Karatzaferis' return. This man once claimed that he sold milk as a profession, and later on in his career he became a bodybuilder. Today some press reports claim he has 60 homes/plots of land. Even if he sold milk to the entire European continent he would not have enough money to acquire so much wealth. He must of sold something else... and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to conclude that it was not milk! Karatzaferis created a far-right party to weaken the conservatives, and was one of the most cherished guests on MEGA channel. A channel which we all know always slammed Costas Karamanlis and instead promoted George Papandreou's return, and today hails Evangelos Venizelos and the Costas Simitis clan. Frappers, do not be fooled. There is noone in the New Democracy party, at least there are no Karamanlis supporters -who are the majority- that would ever give their consent to this or approve his return. People like Georgiadis -who was also in LAOS- as well as Voridis will not be embraced by ND voters at the next national elections. If Voridis is so concerned about the future of the ND party, and Karatzaferis' career, then he should simply return to the LAOS party and help him get into parliament. Karamanlis was a great leader, but he made a tremendous mistake. He allowed people such as Karatzaferis to run free. These politicians should never be allowed back into the Greek Parliament again. The Greek political world needs new faces, and innovative ideas.
