Greece's Nat. Volleyball Team Goes On To European League Semifinals

The Greek national volleyball team managed to secure a spot in the European League semifinals on Sunday, after defeating Montenegro in the final match of the first phase. By claiming victory over Montenegro 3-1 (25-19, 19-25, 24-26, 23-25) Greece now ranks second in its group and is going to progress to the semi finals after eight years, where it is set to face the 2014 European League’s hosting nation Slovenia, while Montenegro will face FYROM.

The country that wins the European League is also expected to secure a spot in next season’s World League competition.
