A new bus route that links the cruise ship terminal at the Piraeus port with Athens' main sight-seeing destinations for tourists is now estimated to make the trip no more than 30 minutes. Commuters to and from these destinations are now going to be able to travel quickly and conveniently either by obtaining a daily travel card -which uses unlimited travel on all public transport for 4.0 euros-, or by getting buying a three-day tourist travel card -set to cost 20 euros and which also gives unlimited travel on all public transport, (as well as trips to and from Athens International Airport).
The new bus route will run all week, starting at 7:00 from Xaveri Coast, with buses departing every half hour until 21:30 in the evening.
The trip is set to cover a distance of about 25 kilometres and make 11 stops along the way at the following locations:
