Did 3 ND Deputies Transfer Undeclared Funds Abroad During Crisis?

A report in "Ta Nea" said recently that three New Democracy MPs transferred large sums of money, or over a million Euros each, to overseas bank accounts in the midst of the financial crisis. This is not illegal as we all know, however, if these funds were undeclared -as the report states- then this action is not only illegal it is more than scandalous.

The report apparently soured -and shocked- the coalition government, with many senior-ranking party members urging the leadership to take drastic measures to address the allegations and expose those responsible of wrongdoing.

At present, the New Democracy party is investigating the matter.  Also, the credibility of the report is in question as well.
