Illegal Immigrants Attack & Stab Official At US Airforce Base In Souda, Crete

According to local press reports, two undocumented immigrants (or who are illegally in Greece) mugged, attacked and stabbed one of two American officials from the US Airforce base in Souda on the island of Crete. The incident apparently occurred early on Friday morning.

The culprits, a 26 year-old Iranian and a 25 year-old Moroccan, were found in possession of two service cards that were stolen from the two American soldiers (aged 22 and 21 years of age), while the wallets of the two servicemen were also discovered.

Unfortunately one of the American soldiers was stabbed in the abdomen but the good news is that he is receiving the proper medical care.

The illegal immigrants were immediately arrested and led to the Prosecutor's office in Chania.
