Pakistani National & Friends Questioned Over Double Murder In Evia

Police on Sunday questioned a 23-year-old Pakistani national, as well as six other nationals (who are also facing charges of harboring a criminal) over a brutal and vicious double homicide that occurred on the island of Evia on Saturday night.

Reports claim that he was arrested following a large-scale investigation into the murder of a married couple in the area of Aliveri, which is located southeast of Evia's capital Halkida.

The 23 year old, who was employed by the couple, apparently entered their home undisturbed and from what it looks like he literally massacred them.

The same reports claim that the two victims, a 54-year-old female bank employee and her 56-year-old gynaecologist husband, were found dead by authorities after responding to a call from the couple's daughter in Athens, who said that she had been trying to get in touch with them for some time and was concerned that they were not responding.

As such, officials sent several officers to the home to investigate their whereabouts and were shocked and horrified when they discovered the two dead bodies. According to initial reports, the mother lay dead in the back yard of the home while the father's body was found in the bedroom.

Both victims showed signs of brutal violence.

The paradox of this all is that when the police questioned the daughter later on about the offender, she described him as a "good and obedient young man."
