A 20 year-old nursing student was brutally murdered in the rural town of Filiata in Thesprotia, northwestern Greece, by a 25-year-livestock farmer. Press reports say that the 25-year-old man viciously and brutally stabbed the young woman repeatedly for a total of 35 times after they got into an argument outside a cafe at midday on Wednesday, in front of dozens of witnesses from a local high school.
(Yes you read correctly young children were subjected to this gruesome murder).
The young girl died en route to hospital.
The farmer might of escaped the scene after the crime, but authorities quickly located him and he was arrested.
When the news of the stabbing spread, dozens of residents from the village of Filiates gathered outside the police station on Thursday with plans to storm the building and attack the perpetrator.
