Efforts for the right solution to the Cyprus problem have been continuous, however they did not bear fruit due the Turkish intransigence, President of the Republic Demetris Christofias said on Thursday. While speaking at an event in Larnaka for the inauguration of the new building of the Council of the occupied village of Kontea, Christofias noted that in order to prevent the partition of the island and to maintain the prospect for a solution, we need to be very careful in the future. "We should not be fooled by Turkey's game either by setting it free from its obligations towards the United Nations Security Council for a solution of bizonal, bicommunal federation or by giving in to its demands to change the basis of the solution", he pointed out.
