The Mayan 2012 end of the world “prophecy” is scaring the daylights out of people all over the world. It is shocking to see that there are still so many people that actually believe that the Mayans have prophesied the end of the world.

The subject is so popular that a Google search for “Maya 2012″ currently brings up at least 700 million hits, almost as popular as the world’s most popular searches.

And what is even more insane is that in places like China, some people are even dishing out money to purchase a buying Noah’s Ark type survival pod to survive the 2012 “apocalypse”.

So is December 21, 2012 the end of the world as we know it? Obviously not. What is inevitable are climate change such as more hurricanes, earthquakes and maybe even innumerable disasters around the globe.
