As Editor of HellasFrappe I would like to send 2013 wishes to all of our readers, for a safe and joyous festive season. As the New year begins let us hope that 2013 will be a year of peace, a year of joy, a year of plenty for all, a year full of memorable moments with family and friends, and year full of blessings for all of us.
HellasFrappe made a lot of progress in 2012 as we continued with our mission of building a united and democratic news source. Speaking of Greece, our country faces some daunting challenges in the months ahead which will require all of our attention and support. We need to close the door on past differences as a society, on a social, economic and especially political scale, as well as at the same time ignore shallow and petty needs, and place our focus on the core values which served as the foundation of Hellenism and way of life of our people over these many years. Future generations will thank us for doing our part to ensure their future and that of generations of Greeks to come.
All of this will take strong leadership, and my greatest wish of all is that leadership will finally prevail over partisan and personal agendas in the New Year. In 2013, we want to be inspired as a society again and we want to feel hopeful. This is why we need leaders that will fully embrace the power of their office and be the visionaries that we elected.
Let's look forward to 2013 with expectation. Let's encourage each other to maintain our own positive vision for Greece and let's demand more of ourselves, and our leaders in the New Year.
On behalf of all the bloggers on HellasFrappe, and myself, I wish you all much health, happiness and prosperity in the year to come.
Happy New Year To All.
Signed
Marina Spanos
