Golden Dawn Storms Out Of Parliament - Calls MPs Thieves (VIDEO)

Friday's parliamentary session was more than electrifying it was literally explosive. The discussion was intended to focus on Greece's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and instead of debating on a national strategy, our MPs engaged in a shouting match. After being provoked by PASOK, Golden Dawn MPs lost control and began calling socialist MPs "thieves" and then demanded that they "bring back the list", referring to the controversial Christine Lagarde list of more than 2000 elite tax evaders.

The tension began building up earlier when Golden Dawn spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris suggested that all energy deposits be nationalized so that Greece's EEZ can be delineated immediately. He said that the Greek State should also adopt a Single Defense Doctrine as well as a de facto union with Cyprus.

He noted that explorations from Prinou began in 1973, during the military dictatorship, and then he accused all the governments that ruled Greece thereafter by saying that they suddenly remembered Greece had energy and hydrocarbons right after they "mortgaged our national wealth to foreign creditors"

Turning to the government, over the the incidents that occurred at the Greek Pentagon on Thursday, (when shipyard workers literally stormed the Greek defense ministry to protest over not being paid by the Skaramanga company), Kassidiaris said that the State wanted to intentionally "humiliate the Hellenic Army because it is afraid of its validity." At the same time he criticized the Chief of the Hellenic Armed Forces for not devising a strategic plan, but for rather preferring to waste his time twitting messages on the social networks all day.

And here is where the fight began.

Kasidiaris then dared to criticize George Papandreou. (or rather the wanna-be prince who believes that he is untouchable)

He described Papandreou as being a quarter-Greek (his nationality) and then he began to slam Evangelos Venizelos by saying that his corrupt tactics have generated waves of vomit throughout Greek society. The spokesman of Golden Dawn then asked if an official could finally just make Venizelos "shut-up", especially when he attempts to raise his voice. "This will happen, when we get into things (into power) and we will clear the donors from those who are corrupt,"added Kasidiaris.

Similar observations were also made by Golden Dawn member Ilias Panagiotara who estimated that the delineation of Greece's EEZ will be achieved once the Golden Dawn comes to power. He characterized Greece's foreign policy from 1990 onwards as treasonous, "especially during the present period".

(Editor - This part made us laugh, and we cannot lie... We said Yeah-Hurray)

Panagiotaros then called former PASOK PM Costas Simitis a "little man and a traitor,".

On his part, Nikos Michos noted that the people of Greece do not need men without courage to talk to them about risks, because according to him, the nation has already seen -and felt to its core- the results of their gutless actions.

In response to all these comments, PASOK spokesman Yiannis Maniatis took the podium and knowingly provoked the scene by saying that "we have just witnessed the fascist launch of verbal garbage, (this is) unworthy of any comment".

(Editor - That was indeed a very provocative statement)

Turning to Maniatis, parliamentary spokesman Christos Pappas asked if it was Mr. Kassidiaris' "shut-up" that was insulting to him? "At some point or another it would have been heard", he said. He then asked Maniatis if he can travel to places such as Argolida freely -meaning if he is popular with the people-. "You will be showered with yogurts and oranges and we will be greeted by the people," said Pappas. He even went as far as saying that Venizelos only proved that all he has done is harbor criminals (meaning that he purposely withheld State evidence in regards to the Lagarde list). "PASOK (is) finished," said the Golden Dawn spokesman.

An MP with the conservative New Democracy party Sofia Voultepsi then took the stand saying that if the Golden Dawn party used the term "shut-up" in order to satisfy its voters or to gain popularity, "Greek citizens should realize that they might be next to hear this command ... ".

"You heard a word like shut up and reacted so strongly, we didn't say bend over" answered Golden Dawn spokesman Christos Pappas.

(Editor - LOL)

And then Maniatis took center stage and answering the Golden Dawn party he said insults and state within a state behaviors as well as "raid guilds" will not come to pass because in Greece, because "democracy will win", even though some people in his opinion are fighting against it.

The Golden Dawn party obviously took offense and they began screaming "thieves ... Bring back the list, etc." and they walked out of parliament.

Later on, Evangelos the Large called for a meeting of party leaders to discuss taking action against Golden Dawn, because he said, they verbally attacked Mr. Maniatis. He forgets of course that the Greek parliament keeps a transcript of everything that is said, and in our opinion they ALL attacked each other. Even his precious Mr. Maniatis. In fact everyone is responsible for the incident in the Greek Parliament on Friday and not just the Golden Dawn party, as most of the mainstream media said.

Our personal opinion here at HellasFrappe is that they all made a mockery of themselves because the subject of Greece's EEZ is very important. Instead of focusing on that, they began attacking each other and this does not in any way support our own philosophy that wants Greeks to be united and not divided.

We also expect the mass media and the rest of Parliament, especially Mr. Venizelos, to be as equally critical to Yiannis Maniatis for describing a fellow MPs speech as "verbal garbage". Let us get real... you can't just insult someone and then expect them to say thank-you or to not react. They obviously wanted Golden Dawn to react... and that is why he used those obnoxious terms. Simply put, PASOK, DHMAR, KKE, SYRIZA. the Independent Greeks, Golden Dawn and even the conservative New Democracy party cannot follow the philosophy "do as I say and not as I do" or "what is good for the goose is not good for the gander".Get real! - Shameful, but nonetheless very entertaining.
