Overseas Cypriots are gathering next week in Nicosia, to hold the 24th meeting of the Central Council of the World Federation for Overseas Cypriots (POMAK) and the International Coordinating Committee Justice for Cyprus (PSEKA), together with the 6th International Conference of the World Organisation for Young Overseas Cypriots (NEPOMAK).
According to an official announcement, the meetings will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia, on August 28-31, 2012.
President Demetris Christofias will address the opening ceremony on the 28th of August and delegates will be welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis.
The opening ceremony will also be addressed by the President of the House of Representatives Yiannakis Omirou and the Archbishop of the Church of Cyprus Chrysostomos II.
Moreover, the Presidents of POMAK, PSEKA and NEPOMAK, Haris Sophoclides, Philip Christopher and Christos Karaolis respectively, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Kostas Tsiaras, and the Chairman of the Youth Board of Cyprus Andreas Vyras will also address the event.
Overseas Cypriots will give a Press conference on August 31, in Nicosia, on the results of their four day meeting.
