According to reports, former prime minister and leader of PASOK George Papandreou is apparently packing up and moving to France. One report on olympia claimed that good old George has found a new job in France, while his brother Andreas has requested for a leave from the university where he is currently employed, but his request was rejected by the Greek state.
The report also noted that a recent fight with current leader of PASOK Evangelos Venizelos is apparently what triggered George's decision to move away... or at least this is what they want us to believe. According to what was written, the fight concerned Venizelos decision not to include Michalis Chrysohoidis and Andreas Loverdos in the newly elected government scheme of Antonis Samaras. The also stressed that this was the last straw that sent George's anger through the roof and therefore he stomped his feat and decided (out of the blue) to wave good-bye to Greece and go on to greener and brighter pastures.
Our first reaction here at hellasfrappe was : Pou pas paidi mou?
Why such a rush?
George... are you a wee bit afraid that the new government of Antonis Samaras will probe how Greece entered the Memorandum and find out something that you don't want them to?
E?
Remember... Only the guilty run George....
Real men stay and face the enchilada.
A few days ago on hellasfrappe we had featured a story about this.Listen to what Georganta said on a talk show several months ago and judge for yourselves... Something stinks alright!
"Prime Minister Antonis Samaras invited the leader of Independent Greeks Party Panos Kammenos to take part in the new government, but the meeting was not fruitful. Nonetheless, both men are determined to investigate those responsible who led the country to the Memorandum and exploited Greece's positions for their own personal benefit.
According to reports, both Samaras and Kammenos agreed to create an investigative committee which will investigate how (and why) Greece was dragged into the arms of the Troika because it allegedly had a high deficit.
It must be reiterated that in mid September 2011 Professor at the University of Macedonia and committee member of the Greece’s National Statistical Service (ELSTAT) Zoe Georganta, outwardly accused Papakonstantinou (who was hand selected by George Papandreou and only accountable to him) of purposely “falsifying” the country’s deficit. Georganta said at the time that the final numbers that were presented by the government in 2010 (for the 2009 period) were known by Eurostat, which apparently also participated in this act of fraud as well.
From what she said, the Greek deficit for 2009 was deliberately estimated at 15.4% from Eurostat because they purposely inflated it to be larger than that of Ireland’s debt which was estimated at 14%. “The deficit was artificially inflated in 2009 to show that the country had the largest across Europe, including that of Ireland which was 14% in order to justify the harsh austerity measures the government wanted to implement on the country. And (that is why) Eurostat presented it at 15,4%“. Georganta has said that even a 0.05 percent difference in the deficit equals to billions of euros! She had also said at the time that they were warned her and her collegues to keep their “mouths shut” about this because the situation in Greece was crucial. (Click here to read that story)"
And this video where Georganta openly accuses George Papandreou of giving markets "bread" to bet against Greece.
And this one where Panos Kammenos charges George Papandreou of being affiliated directly with George Soros, as well as his brother Andreas of being involved in a company that speculated against Greece on the bond market.
And this one with Max Keiser who comments on reports that claim that George Papandreou is accused of treason for being involved with Credit Default Swaps (CDS).
And this one where Panos Kammenos said in Parliament last November that the failed Belgian bank DEXIA, in collaboration with the BROTHER of George Papandreou and UNIGESTION, bet a huge sum of money in the fluctuation of Euro/Swedish Krona just days before Papandreou announced the referendum and the markets went haywire!
And this one where reporter George Trangas described George Papandreou as the biggest political conman of the century and biggest political blackmailer.
Editor's Note - When taking the above videos and evidence into mind... and if you were a Supreme Court Judge... would you allow him to stay and face the consequences, or do you believe the fairytale about the rift with Venizelos and allow him to go? Tick... tock... tick... tock...
