When her honeymoon on the island of Santorini and Patmos ended in 2011 Oscar winning actress Julia Roberts returned to Los Angeles enchanted, and quickly made arrangements with a Greek-American realtor to purchase a home on the Holy Island. According to the newspaper proto thema, after scanning the market on Patmos for a while, she finally found a luxury home that simply stole her heart. The two storey home is 200 square meters big and apparently has a breathtaking view of the holy monastery and the Aegean sea. It is constructed out of stone, and built in traditional manner, while it comes equipped with three large bedrooms, a living room, two bathrooms as well as a fireplace. Oh... and a price tag of a whopping 900,000 euros!
