The Greek ambassador in Berlin Dimitrios Rallis called for the German Foreign ministry's protection when the owner of the real estate attempted to transfer the entrance and emblem of the embassy without the approval of the Greek diplomatic mission. Following a demarche by Rallis, the German Foreign ministry's Formality Department, reacting immediately, imposed the stoppage of work until the issue was examined. On the part of the Greek embassy, it is considered that the unilateral action by the owner of the real estate constitutes a violation of the Vienna Treaty on diplomatic relations of states. (AMNA)
