Protesters Return To Syntagma Sq - While Papandreou Enters Grande Bretagne To Get Sauna (VIDEOS)

Greece might be experiencing some of the coldest days in its recent history, and surely one of the worst winters in terms of daily survival, but this did not stop the "aganaktismenoi" or the protesters of Syntagma Square to make a powerful comeback on Sunday.

Unfortunately the protesters were confronted by heavily armored riot police, and while they began to push back the crowds back, several feet away, former prime minister and leader of the PASOK party George Papandreou entered the Grande Bretagne Hotel unoticed so he can get receive a much needed "spa" before his busy evening.

More exactly, a little after 7:00 pm on Sunday evening, gold old George, visited the posh hotel so he can enjoy a sauna, totally obliviant to what was actually happening outside where tens of hundreds of citizens standing in zero temperatures and clashing it out with riot police, a report on greekomoney said today.

This can only be described as an extremely provocative act, incidences such as these only happen in monarchies. It actually reminded us here at hellasfrappe about Marie Antoinette's famous and last words "let them eat cake"before being behead in the French Revolution.

This man has literally brought Greece to the brink of disaster and what really ticks us off is he was not moved at all by the cries of the people that were standing several feet away from the hotel and clashing it out with the police. (Most of the clashes occured on Amalia Avenue, thereby preventing the passage of vehicles.)
