Oil Officials from United Arab Emirates To Meet With Greek Officials For Talks

Officials from the United Arab Emirates Foreign Ministry and a delegation from the Greek government is apparently going to hold bilateral talks this week in Lagonissi regarding investments in Greece's energy sector. More exactly, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zeayed - and a crowd of managers from leading companies in the UAE such as Masdar, the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Etihad, etc. are reportedely going to meet with Greek Vice President Theodoros Pangalos, Foreign Minister Stavros Dimas, Development Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis and Tourism Minister Paul Geroulanos.

Reports in Athens claim that the Arabs ARE VERY INTERESTED in investing in our country.  And this got us into thinking here at hellasfrappe... If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then what is it?

Tick tock... tick tock...

You guess it: OIl and natural gas!

In fact a report on protothema said that one of the interesting aspects of the Arab visit is the arrival of representatives of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. The company is apparently going to explore potential opportunities in oil exploration in western Greece.

We are not surprised.
