It is confirmed militarised Eurogedfor units are in Greece

It was just confirmed from various blogs, the European Gendarmerie Force (Eurogedfor).is indeed in Greece. According to exclusive reports from prionokordela they are located in a military camp on the outskirts of Larissa. For obvious reasons the blog would not disclose more information.

A separate report on Kontra Channel just said that the Greek Communist Party (KKE) also surfaced the issue today (because it also had some information on this), while on certain blogs it was also mentioned that many units also arrived by Greek C140 military planes.

The eye witness reports were also confirmed that claimed they entered Greece through the Igoumenitsa port and the claims that said that they shipped over a large number of camouflaged armored vehicles.

According to prionokordela, the brigade will be dispatched in Athens and other major cities all over Greece, traveling to and fro by tourist buses so as to not raise suspicion.
The Eurogedfor is a whole brigade, consisting of Germans and Dutch dressed in civilian clothing that are specialized in riot situations. Basically it is an intervention force, designed after the French Gendarmerie and the Italian Unita Specializzate Multinazionali (MSU) of the Carabinieri and has militarised police functions as well as specialises in crisis management. They use armored fighting vehicles, and equipment which were created to perform war-related missions in areas such as Kosovo, Afghanistan, etc., where conventional forces are unable to carry out special missions in repression of crowds.

SHOCKING NEWS - 6,000 Special Italian Police Forces are in Greece ahead of protests tomorrow!

Ahead of a global movement that began in New York City with "Occupy Wall Street" and has not spread to countless cities all over North America and all over the world, and plans for a global demonstration tomorrow (Oct. 15) a report on tromaktiko just said that a unit of 6,000 Special Police Forces arrived in Greece from Verona, Italy and are currently in Larissa. According to news, these forces will enrich our own riot police ahead of tomorrow's protests which are expected to be one of the largest ever. The same reports also claim that specialized tanks and other such materials also arrived in Greece today for this very purpose.

Eye-witness reports claim that these officers all have the same look (shaved heads, bulky).

Reasonable questions are rising.

Are they expecting riots to break tomorrow (or planning to trigger them... to occur) when the whole world will partake in similar protests?

When Occupy Wall Street will be in Washington, in Montreal, at the Toronto Stock Exchange and every major city across the planet?

Will we once again re-live the events of June 29?

Or will we once again mourn more victims like we did in last year's protests when three adults from Marfin Bank died, one of which was pregnantl?

Or are they just saying all this just to intimidate the people so that they will not protest?

It remains to be seen.

Who is Tsolakoglou and why is everyone calling Papandreou by this name?

Over the last few days Greek blogs have baptized Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou calling him a a "Georgios Tsolakoglou". The obvious question... Who is Tsolakoglou? The latter figure had signed the armistice treaty with the Wehrmacht and was appointed as chief of a new Nazi puppet collaborationist regime in Athens during the 1940s. He was a formal army officer who went against Greek national interests, as well as sided with foreigners against his very own people and literally surrendered the Greek Army to the Axis Occupation in 1941-1942. The result of this "betrayal" was the German plundering of Greece's resources,  which later caused food shortages, massive inflation and a devastating famine that killed as many as 100,000 Greeks.

What a coincidence, so did our prime minister, only 70 years later!!

Would you look at that....
According to Wikipedia, as an officer in the Greek Army, and after the German invasion and capture of Thessaloniki on April 9, 1941, German motorized units, succeeded in reaching the vital Metsovon Pass on April 18, overcoming local Greek resistance and thus capturing Ioannina, thereby effectively cutting off the Greek Army. When the hopelessness of resistance became apparent, Tsolakoglou, along with several other senior generals began considering surrendering to the Germans. He immediately sent messengers to the Germans proposing surrender, and on the same day signed a surrender protocol with the commander of the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler brigade, Sepp Dietrich.
Oh my... this is too surreal George Papandreou did the same thing when he called on the TROIKA to send the lifeboat they have been promising to the "sinking Titanic" -as Papandreou had termed it- Greece on April 23, 2010. He totally humiliated our nation with this move, and put us at the mercy of our European partners and the IMF, all of whom since then have demanded our own flesh in return for bank aid.
Despite urgent orders by Greek Commander-in-chief Alexandros Papagos, that he be relieved and resistance continued to the last, the next day, at Larissa, the surrender was formalized, with Tsolakolglou signing the unconditional surrender of the Greek Army to the Germans. Tsolakoglou himself wrote in his memoirs: "I found myself before a historic dilemma: To allow the fight to continue and have a holocaust or, obeying the pleas of the Army's commanders, to assume the initiative of surrendering.... Having made my decision to dare, I did not consider responsibilities.... Until today I have not regretted my actions. On the contrary, I feel proud."
Oh my... George Papandreou said the same thing when he went to Germany a couple of weeks ago and formalised the occupation by agreeing to give Germany everything! He offered our land, our water and our soil, all at a bargain price!. He also said that German funding would not be an investment in past failures, but in future successes! And we ask, what success? Germany wants to build special investment zones in Greece, where Greek state law will be not be applied. A Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is a geographical region that has economic and other laws that are more free-market-oriented than a country's typical or national laws. They can pay their workers as much as they want, do whatever they want, and the Greek state will have no say in their activities. In a few words, these zone will have special treatment from the Greek state. They will not pay rent for the land they use, and if they operate as they do in other parts of the world then these zones will not even pay electricity or any other types of utilities. Also, they have a "special tax rate". Basically they are a state within the state and the workers who work there are under special labor laws

About four or five such special zones (according to rumors) will soon begin. The Memorandum of Shame has had such a negative economic effect on people in this country, and created such high unemployment that people desperate for work will rush to gain a piece of bread for their survival. (We heard rumors of salaries that are 300 euro net per month, with no union based contracts, no right to strike, protest, etc).
On April 30, 1941, Tsolakoglou was appointed Prime Minister of a collaborationist government by the Axis Occupation authorities. Tsolakoglou remained as head of the government until December 2, 1942, when he was dismissed and replaced by Konstantinos Logothetopoulos. After Greece was liberated, Tsolakoglou was arrested, tried by a Special Collaborators Court in 1945 and sentenced to death. His death penalty was ultimately commuted to life imprisonment, and he died of leukaemia in prison in 1948.
Oh my... So that is why the "TROIKA" wants a collaborationist government in Greece and has put all of its propaganda forces into action to endorse this. How brainless can we be! We are under occupation!

We here at hellasfrappe are learning about Greek history just as much as all of you... and we tip our hats to the blogs that have term Papandreou as the new Tsolakoglou. We did the comparison because we want the world to finally wake up from their coma and realize that this is what they had planned to do from the start. They want to create special economic zones so that they can be competitive against the only rising power which is China. The difference is, we still pay the same prices, if not more with all the price hikes, on our food, our utilities and our services... while salaries have been slashed more than 40 percent.

The only thing we can say is that it does not surprise us one bit why citizens of Greece scream out the word GOUDI everytime they hear George Papandreou's name, and anyone associated with the PASOK party for that matter. (Goudi being a place where executions were conducted)
It does not surprise us one bit why they call him a traitor for conducting "secret diplomacy" on issues that deal with FYROM, the Aegean Sea, and the energy sector.

Doesn't this make you wonder why he refuses to step down from power? He is obviously following orders and they are not ready to retire him as of yet, until they suck every living and breathing nobility and civility we have left in us as a people.

In fact Papandreou and his merry men will stop at nothing until they totally destroy the people of this nation.

They are dangerous, and thus considered persona non grata by us the people.

Please step down from power Mr. Papandreou and leave Greece now while it is still safe. Because if there are further plans to belittle us and drive us even further to the ground, then we here at hellsafrappe are afraid that it will be too late for your government to escape the wrath of the people and the world might once again see scenes like those in Argentina when a similar Tsolakoglou tried to escape with a helicopter.

Marina Spanos

Gov't denies reports of Eurogedfor's arrival, eye-witness reports say otherwise

The rumours of that the European Gendarmerie Force (Eurogedfor).is in Greece is still headlining the blogosphere today since it is still unclear whether they are here or not.

A couple of hours ago and after a massive load of information about their arrival began making headlines on most of the Greek news blogs; the Greek Ministry of the Protection of the Citizen (in other words the Law and Order Ministry) denied the reports. But then again there is the issue with the government’s “credibility” since it has lied to the people of Greece on so many accounts that it is difficult to actually believe when they are telling the truth and when they are not anymore.

The only reason the issue is still being broadcasted on most of the blogs is because there are too many eye-witness reports that claim otherwise. We already know that officials had given in and admitted that some units had come to Greece about eight months ago for combat exercises and training (or so they say), but this is only after their arrival was exposed, so do we believe a government that has lied to us, or do we believe the tens of eye-witness reports? You decide.

Late last night hellasfrappe also posted a relevant story, but we stressed that we could not confirm the reports. (click here for that story)

Even defencenet –which has the sources to confirm this- posted a relevant story on this claiming that it too could not confirm the reports, but it received information that Eurogedfor entered through Igoumenitsa, fully equipped with armored vehicles. It said that the unit travelled to some place in Thessaly, but the information is still unclear.

A separate report on another military news site (onalert) said that residents from Igoumenitsa and Larissa witnessed a crowd of men dressed in civilian clothing, holding briefcases with the initials EGF, and huge transport trucks carrying armored vehicles. The same eye-witness reports said these units arrived in Igoumenitsa and made their way to Larissa’s former air force base. This would make sense since a unit of this magnitude as well as its material could only be hosted in a former army base.

If they are here, then maybe they are here to take part in joint police exercises with our police forces, but the “time chosen for these exercises” raises many questions.

Don’t forget the Greek Parliament is set to vote on extremely harsh (and crucial for our lenders) measures in the next few days, and this already has half of the country on the streets in a barrage of strikes. Protests are expected to heighten over the next few days… So the issue of “timing” should be taken into consideration.

We do not want to even think that the Troika sent them to protect the government and prevent resistance from the people, because if that is the case, then our government, (who knows if they are here or not) has simply declared war on its own people.

Besides, if this force is used in a riot it would have the opposite effect on Greek rioters anyway: This will surface even further feelings of resistance from Greeks. Anarchy will take place from the eldest to the youngest. It is not that long ago that Greece was under a military dictatorship, and the wounds are still too fresh to be wiped away from people’s memory. People will risk anything and everything to stop this and they will even rise up from their death beds and fight.

When trying to confirm the reports this morning as a follow-up to last night’s story, hellasfrappe also remembered that back in June Vice-Premier Theodore Pangalos had said that the country would devolve into complete anarchy, with tanks roaming the streets, a population on the verge of civil war, with mass suicides, just for dramatic impact, should bankers not get their way.

Was he warning us from then?

So “bankers” have sent these troops here…??????

O re glentia…

In all seriousness, the Eurogedfor is no laughing matter. They use armored fighting vehicles, and equipment which were created to perform war-related missions in areas such as Kosovo, Afghanistan, etc., where conventional forces are unable to carry out special missions in repression of crowds.

May God have mercy on this government if it even allows for this to happen against the people!

CALL TO SIGN PETITION - German war reparations provide an outlet for the Greek crisis!

Hellasfrappe urges all its readers to go online and sign this crucial petition. It takes only one minute of your time. It does not matter if you live in Montreal, Vancouver, Hong Kong, Moscow, L.A or Melbourne. If you have been reading hellasfrappe and want to act... now is the time.

Hellenes and friends of Hellas can sign. Our country is the only nation in the world that has not been compensated for the war crimes caused by Nazi Germany, but today all the eyes of the world are on us in fear of an economic collapse.

The Greek deficit, which is strongly questioned and which has not been officially certified, comes to 360 billion euros.

It has been publicly acknowledged that the Memorandum and the various add-ons that have been forced upon our country, have failed to solve the financial crisis.

As a result of this failure, the methodical liquidation of the country’s assets has started, whereby the wealth of the country will be sold at cut-price rates, seeing that the Greek capital market has been degraded at over 80%. If the liquidation of Greece’s assets becomes effective, it is equivalent to the quasi ceding of Greece’s sovereignty, and ultimately it will lead to her destruction.

Greece is the only country that has not received war reparations, which include the occupational loan and repayment for the destruction to the infrastructure and the productivity of the country. It comes to the sum total of 162 billion euros, without interest, according to the statistics from the Central Bank of Greece. This amount could be deducted from the national debt by dividing it into 40 annual installments by using a logistical counterbalance system. In this way, it will relieve the Greek crisis, which is tending to become not only a European crisis, but also a worldwide one.

We, who have signed this petition, acknowledge the respect that you as world leaders have towards Greece’s contribution to mankind and your belief in the rights of the people. We hope that from your position you will intervene in favour of this petition, which will contribute towards avoiding this imminent tragedy, reinstate a great injustice and produce stability in the world economy.
PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION HERE - www.ekklisi.gr
