The Turkish surveyor KOCA PIRI REIS is at this moment in Plot 1 of Cyprus’ EEZ just southwest off the coast of Paphos, within the range of PM-40 Exocet Block II ground-surface missiles. It is accompanied by a frigate and a submarine, a report on defencenet just said.
On Friday afternoon the boat picked up speed after Smyrna, and sailed south with a speed 8.5 knots.
The ship is within the EEZ of Cyprus and so far there is no information about its final destination.
